Oh god what a big snip :p
Wow mate, that was REALLY well said by you. Well done. I definetly see where your going with the whole "We don't know anything that happens afterwards". Which in my opinion also sucks quite a lot. I would love it if their was a DLC showing what happens to the crew, shepard and the other races but they keep the ending. You seem really reasonable in this situation. Your reaction isn't "OH GOD THE ENDING DOESNT SHOW WHAT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE THERE ISNT NO ENDING AND THE SERIES IS RUINED NOW GIVE ME A REFUND" but more like "The ending's fine, I just would like to know what happens after, give me a little closure on all my choices. Instead of wanting Bioware to do it all for free because you are somehow entitled to something that redeems 10 minutes of bad game after they've played 40 hours of AMAZING game, your more like "Just show me what happens next and I'll pay anything reasonable".

You sir, are awesome. I fully support your cause. As for the people wanting refunds and complaining to the GOVERNMENT, I hate the entitled first world problems whiners they are.

It was a pleasure, really. I like discussions like this one, being civil and talking about different opinions. I must say that, after the first read-through of some threads in the BioWare forums, I got sucked in the "angry mob" and for about one or two days I wanted BW/EA to change the endings, too. A few other threads with interesting discussions made me change my opinion, again, with some help of critical thinking by myself. It ended with what I stated above.

About the whiners and the government: Many, if not most of the participators of the movement do not support that behavior. I guess you already heard of the Child's Play campaign which was initiated by the RetakeME3 community; that one made the people listen without being able to judge us as whiners and spoiled brats, probably only because the gamers did something good. These actions with the government, now, is an alltogether other "project", and it was something someone thought would be a good idea to get the media talking about the endings.

Of coure they do, now. But it also makes not only that one or these few guys who filled out the complains look like (sorry for my language) idiots and whiners; it backfired on the whole RetakeME3 movement, and media being media nowadays, they put us with them in one pot. (Hope that figure of speech is understandable in English.)

That it did, I am able to see in many, many threads all over the web. The RetakeME3 movement now is "a community of whiners and wannabe writers" according to some people, concentrating on what the **** those "hardcore petititions" are about and loosing sight of the original goals of the movement.

It's a shame, really, how just a few persons can destroy the image of a whole community with one action not thought through. I think we all agree when I say that those complains are not only unnecessary, but an insult thrown into the faces of those at BioWare who worked really hard to give us the game they did. Although the endings of the story, for some people, destroy the whole story itself (I have to say that they do that a little bit for me, with no conclusion of what happened afterwards), it cannot diminish what BW accomplished till the end. The game was awesome, period.

That the end wasn't, I already mentioned in some length, so no more gentleman rage on that topic.

And once again I end my post and will

Hold the line.
