I just wanted KotOR 3
Well the Jedi Knight storyline is essentially KotOR 3. Or at least the closest thing we have to it.
Aside from being utterly stupid, you know, something the KOTOR games weren't particularly known for.
It definitely wasn't even close to KotoR 3, but it wasn't exactly utterly stupid. In fact some of the storylines were even quite well done, the Imperial Agent for example, but I still would have preferred KotoR 3.

On-Topic: I found that I actually like most of the planets, excluding Tat., but no one like that shit hole, but they felt too...open, like they were trying to prevent the worlds from being cluttered but ended up leaving them pretty but empty. Plus they were a ***** and half to travel if you hadn't gotten your speeder yet, looking at you Ald.
For the slightly disturbing record: I was actually talking about the Jedi Knight plot there, not just all the plots in general. I particularly like how the Jedi plotline starts with freakin' genocide against a sentient species. That didn't convey an ambient level of stupidity at all

That said, a lot of them (the Sith Warrior, the Bounty Hunter, and the Smuggler all come to mind here) are also pretty damn stupid in their own right...

Fair enough, though I thought it fell under the same ruling as the Sith and other threats against the Jedi, i.e. they kill everything. Cause well they do tend to do that sort of thing.

For me it was just an expectation that I sit through hundreds of hours of fluff (Taris, oh god Taris, I wonder how many subs that planet has killed) for a few hours of storyline. Plus the storyline wasnt all that great. I mean that is the game's innovation right?

I played a smuggler and when you finally get your ship back, there is just some chick (Risha) hanging out in your ships cargo hold like "sup I'm on your ship let's go on a treasure hunt." But even better it ends with:

I'm actually a rich princess, surprise!

As compeling as that storyline is, I could have read some trashy fan-fic on amazon for $1 in an afternoon for the same impact.
