Just read the extra consideration article and man I forgot how good the old republic storyline was, and how much fun I had with the game. I recently gulped down all of Dragon Age 2 and while certainly not bad, the thought of taste even more biter after thinking about KoTOR. Speaking of which I want to que 3 attacks PLEASE!!!!! Seriously would it be so hard to give me a que again...

I remember KotOR being released, not completely in the same time frame as the prequel trilogy but, in a close enough time frame for me to compare the two. I remember telling friends how much better the Old Republic storyline is from the prequel trilogy. Hell, even now I'm more into prequel stories than Clone War era tales. I ate those Darth Bane books up and still have Red Harvest and, Fatal Alliance waiting for me to crack those spines.

I remember falling in love with the storyline. The combat fell a little on the dull side, but in the end, the story would just keep you coming back for more.

Story. That, and it was the first RPG I'd played wherein I cared about my companions and their back stories. And who could forget downing an entire room of people with a good ol' Force Storm?

Personally I never got into it. The combat was just too dull for me to stick through with, though I'm sure the story was good. I had the same problem with DA:O the first time I tried, but managed to give it another try and finish it. Might give KoTOR another try some day.

Darth Bane was by far my favorite of the novels. Such a great job, though so sad "whats her name" didn't make it out of the cave at the end. Really was hoping for that oh well. Great book though.

I watched all 6 Star Wars films the other night and it was only a few films through before I had firmly decided to play through both KOTORs again. Do love the first one but the second one had a few very memorable bits too. Makes me glad I haven't sold my 360.
