You can still post, can't you? It is a joke. These are mock suspensions. Have a little fun.UltraHammer said:I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING!Kastigia said:Ah man this shits hilarious, at this rate the escapist isn't going to have any posters left!
Do your worst mods, you've successfully killed your own forum by being anally retentive.
I call on all escapists to post in this thread! We can just make new accounts anyway and troll the place to high heaven. Freedom!
Everyone on the site, post, post, post! I despise the moderation on the escapist. Which sucks because their official content is so good.
What's up with the probation thing? I can understand warning the user privately, but why the public "PROBATION" sign? It's like, look at this pathetic user who DARES go out of line! This is what will happen to you!
The moderation on this website is unfair and over-controlling in so many ways. You'll turn your members into mindless zombies who have to carefully, slowly plan out every single word they say in fear of getting in trouble.
What's even worse is that TE thinks they're so humorous and free-spirited about it. By jokingly calling it "mod wrath". Oh, hardy hardy har! See? These people are actually really nice and funny. Oh and by the way saying anything that could possibly offend someone will incite them to publicly humiliate you in any way you can.
It's not just here, either. 90% of websites have out-of-whack moderation, and I'm sick of it. The free'er you make your land, the more naturally, culturally enforced rules and standards take control. It's much better that way.
There's really nothing good about these forums. It seems every post is either a rage-inducing political debate, trying to discredit someone said about your Country/race/culture, or something that will get you probed.

The suspensions are taking over, claiming new victims as they go. The forums are becoming increasingly barren, as more and more succumb to the wrath of what we survivors have taken to calling 'The Suspender'.
No one is safe.
I pray that whoever finds this diary takes my advice and runs for safety as soon as possible.
I have been hiding out in some of the less-looked-at forums, hoping to avoid the gaze of the Suspender, but occasionally I venture out to Off-topic and Gaming to post on new threads. A risk I must take, but one that never stops being terrifying; a quick run of stealth to share my opinions, always fearful of Suspender's mighty 'SUSPENDED' stamp.
Soon I fear, however, that I will be found. By the laws of probability, my time is limited.
A sudden sprint out to Off-Topic, I find a thread about why people were put on probation, back before The Suspending Times. Everywhere I look I see posts scarred with The Suspender's telltale signs; 'User was suspended for this post.' occupying the lower spaces of the comment.
I fear The Suspender lurks here, as some of the posts were only from 5 minutes ago.
I must make haste back to my safe-haven, in Forum Games, where the Suspender has yet to destroy.
Before leaving, I- wait. I heard something... Coming closer.... looking through the pages... Oh God. It's coming from the latest post... Oh... oh no! No, not me! SPARE ME!! WHY GOD, WHHHYYY, NAAOOUGGHHH-
