Yes, they do, and it's a prime principle in communism.

Then I guess we'll just have to disagree, because I see taking something that someone worked hard for as stealing - because it is.

EDIT: At least, if you meant what I think you meant - it's late and I'm tired.
Everyone, people like this are another reason I can be rude.

Because I don't agree with you?
That's an excellent reason to be rude to someone.

Or is it because I am tired and was confused?
'Cause you never really cleared it up.
It's not that you disagree, it's just that you're being a dick about it.

There are many precidents for me to be rude as all get out. Most importantly for me, though, is that I have to believe you deserve it. I went to the Denis Leary school of assholes, but I think you can imagine that even he doesn't get pissed at people who haven't earned it. The same goes for me. My scathing words are a venom only to be spat when the time is right.

That's an...interesting way to look at it.

What would you call taking something someone else earned?
It's not giving to charity, because he's not doing it of his own free will.
So instead of reading venom or whatever into this question, read only the utmost sincerity: What would you call it?
That's the thing, they don't earn it. They sit and do nothing while those who work under them sweat and toil and do more work than in a day than the capitalist does in a month. Other people inherit their wealth and still others get far more than they deserve for what they do. What do I call the abolition of this?

I call it justice.

Ah, that makes me so happy. Someone else sticking up for earning what you have, instead of just getting it because.

I don't care what they say about you here, you prove to me time and again that you're a voice of reason.

On the topic: I try my hardest to be civil, and if you too are civil then you've just made my life easier. If not, then you are ignore-worthy.

Rude clients get rudeness directed back at them, and then told to leave the shelter. I love working in an industry where the customer is NOT "always right".

Also, stupid people get sarcasm or, if they're persistent enough, a mental beatdown. If I deign to notice them, that is.

I use two simple rules

1) Nice to me, I'm nice back
2) Rude to me, You'll get it back

But I'm normally nice to people
No point in repeating what he said on my part.

The answer is simple, on the interwebs anonymity grants people voices they otherwise wouldn't dare use. They think that because nobody can see them, their actions have no consequence, unfortunately, they're mostly right. Until, of course, the grammar police show up to fuck their day up.
