Well, that worked, I went to look, kinda interesting that a 220,000 views thread is so short (in terms of having nearly a quarter of a million views). That's not necessarily a bash, btw, it could be that it's just said all that needed to be said :)
Well I have got a lot of messages from people about it and how they found it by stumbledupon.com, I have no idea what that site is like but it got really popular really quickly, I got the 10,000 views in about a night of it being posted. Most of the people who chatted to me in the thread have never been to the escapist before so I might have introduced a couple of new members.

Kinda wish I put it on a site where I could have made some money or the staff could give me some form of thanks for bringing lots of ad revenue but hey no biggy

Great old cuddler - Phn'glui mglw'nafh Chthulhu R'lyeah wgn'nagl ftagn

Pretty much describes the majority of the D&D campaigns that I run. At best, people survive.

The Wizard - Robe and hat not included

In the majority of games that have a class system, I end up playing a mage of some kind or another. Call my crazy, but I like throwing fireballs, controlling people's minds, and completely controlling a battlefield.

Chilly - There's only so much love to go around. You dole your share out carefully.

I've dealt with my share of betrayal in the past[footnote]No, I'm not interested in discussing it. Let the past stay in the past.[/footnote]. I'm pretty slow to trust, now, and have a tendency to be abrupt and blunt. It's intended to be a warning that I may come off as cold.

Phaser - ZOMGPHASERSPEWPEW!!1

I'm a Star Trek fan.

Forum inferno because I have one of the most viewed threads on the escapist
Pillar of the community because I'm not really that much of a bastard
Connector because I like the colour if I am honest and regular because I'm still waiting for the next one up which isn't it supposed to be 17 months because I've been here for well over two years
wow, I only have 1000 views. What on earth did you make a thread about that garnered 100,000 views? lol Did you actually meet jesus? What was he like? Oh, and damn you for your 87 score :( I totally need that laptop so badly, lol

Ok, after changing mine

Neo - Self Explanatory really, shows that I don't troll that often
Sex Symbol - Cause I'm FABULOUS!
Baby Seal Puncher - Cause, lol, why not?
Long Time Listener, First Time Caller - Cause that was totally awesome, thanks for the nod Russ :)
I made This [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.198377-Music-Theory-The-basics-updated-V7]. 220,000 views and getting more everyday, I will have the most viewed thread dammit, all I have to beat is the gun creation thread at 232,000 and there's has stopped moving for a long time

mwa ha ha ha
that's actually really impressive, and not just for the ludicrous view count.

Much appreciated, still waiting for a little bit more recognition but I know I did good, even if the escapist staff don't want to acknowledge it

That seems like a really negative way of looking at it.

Eh maybe, I'm proud of what I created, how many people it helped and the overall achievement but I dunno I kinda feel like it's not enough. I mean why should I have made it here when I got no recognition in the slightest from the staff. I guess you are right but ah well

sour grapes do you no good friend, if you want recognition for something, you have to put yourself in a position where you can't be ignored, or at least success of your world directly relates to your own success.. Write a book. don't sit and mope that you're not getting compensated for something that you weren't tasked to do in the first place.

Yeah I might do one day, you are right and maybe if I get the most viewed thread I might get a thanks. You can't really ignore that and I suppose I do feel a bit biter about it but I should stop moping. I might do one on business one day, it would be much longer potentially hitting 20,000 words but it'll be fun

Once I get Morpheus, I'll have the "Morpheus easting a cheeseburger and growing questionably overweight" combo, but until then I have to settle for margarine :[

I like the skull.
I love my box of kitties.
And then the other two were there when I set it to keep 4 instead of the newest ones, so I just left them.

Neo Badge: I'm a regular here and I'm follow the rules.

Lazy: Because I am.

On Fire: Proves that I can make a good thread

Socialite: I'm confident I'm one of the few very well know members here who doesn't have Cyber Celeb or that Pillar.

Explain why you picked the four badges that appear when you post.

I picked the Neo because I'm proud of the fact that I've never recieved mod wrath without asking for it.

The Team Rocket badge is there because it matches my avatar and I like it.

The Mudkip! is there to show I'm a Pokemon trainer for life.

The Regular badge is there because I'm considered a regular now! XD

Your turn. Is there any real reason you picked your badge order or is just whatever showed randomly?
you can pick your badges? learn something new every day. i think mine are just the latest four i received, although i really don't care so i doubt they will change unless i get a new one.
