So you hate consoles, have no interest in them but you care that Sony keeps taking things? Were as I have a PS3 and love it, I think in this instance alone my argument holds slightly more weight.

I picked Linux, maybe you don't think it's a worthy cause, and honestly I could care less if you do, but I hardly think you're one to judge when the cause you're pursuing right now is telling that person he's wrong.
My cause is supporting consumer rights, your cause is trying to prove a stranger on the internet wrong. Somehow, I don't think you should be accusing me of doing something worthless.
I thought I settled this awhile ago, I have three times now "lets agree to disagree" yet you keep quoting me, I am pursuing nothing, you on the other hand are constantly trying to make me come over to your way of thinking.
So should everybody who disagrees with you leave this thread? In order to discuss people have to disagree, otherwise you just have people saying "I agree, grrr you Sony".
Consumer rights is a worthy cause, Something people aren't generally bothered about, not so much.
Which leads me on to ...

You picked this? Linux? -.-
If you would have picked backwards compatibility, I would completely agree with you but since nobody but companies use Linux, I am stood on the opposite side.
Okay seriously, stop it. No matter how many times you say no one used the Other OS option, it will never magically become true. There is a large subculture of gamers dedicated to putting open source software on EVERYTHING. I ran Linux on my original Xbox and people are still working diligently to perfect Linux on the 360. Having the option to do this on the PS3 without modding was a huge selling point to these people. They are certainly not the majority, but they exist by the tens of thousands.
I thought I cleared this up aswell.
If I remember correctly (it's 3 am so I am probably wrong, even if I am just go with it) there were 50 million PS3's sold, (lets be generous, you say tens of thousands) if 100,000 individuals and 1,000 companies use Linux on the PS3, whats that as a percent? I am not even good at maths but I bet it's low.
Thats what I mean by nobody, I don't literally mean no one in the world.
