I don't think I can change its name but if I could it HAS to be dick-related.

Mine is a purposefully randomized, mixed case, special character, alphanumeric string. I've turned off SSID broadcasting as well. This still won't stop a determined individual using free cracking warez, but I won't make things easy for them.

Usually, it's just "Amaranth."

For a while, there was a network in my building called that. It got a little awkward because one of my neighbours has a stereotypically "muslim" name and named his wireless network after himself.

The most I've done is changed my WiFi temporarily to "Classified" to mess with a friend.

Call me paranoid, but I basically name everything technological I own HAL-9000.
I should do that, since my internet connection is frequently unstable.

I could use something crass but I live close to a bus stop.
Are you kidding? That's the BEST place to do something crass!

...Out of context, that sounds bad.

I've called mine Cyberspace, Series of Tubes, Teh Internets, Bob the Builder(Hey, I had writer's block), and Thunderhorse. I've never made any that were lewd out of respect for the neighbors but had plenty of ideas.

I have seen many pics of different SSIDs. Two of the best was "We could hear you having sex last night" and "Shut up your dog or we will call the cops", both probably as multiple SSIDs. The usual FBI/NSA Surveillance ones are pretty funny but wearing out the joke.

We briefly called it "Stop Stealing Our Internet" to be funny. Yes, it had a password on it.

When I move out, mine's going to be called "FBI Are On Their Way" to see what happens.

I am so changing mine to CIA survalience van XD.....

mines my last name....
Huzzah! Mine currently is "Surveillance Van". Been so for quite a while now - it's a legacy thing - all of my routers for the past year or so have "officially" been a surveillance van with a number appended at the end. I think having a network called, say, "SurveillanceVan11" looks even better. I've also tried "CCTV network" or "Spy Camera" but I found "surveillance van" to just feel the best.

Hahaha mine is CIA Surveilance van 5, since someone else in the neighbourhood had one named CIA Surveilance van 4. We actually managed to freak someone out about it, it was hilarious.
You understand, I see :p

Other than that, some time last year, I changed the wireless name to something stupid and 13-year-old-like - approximately "xXx_1337_k!lla_360_n0_sc0pe_420_xXx" (or something along those lines, you get the idea) because it was to be a "secret". There were reasons, but basically, it was supposed to look immature and 13-year-old-like. I believe it succeeded.

Mine is currently Queen Anne's Revenge because I like pirates and ships. Last ones were Nebakanezer, Serenity, and Wicked Wench. Next one on the list is Royal Fortune.

"The WAN before Time"
The one before that was just called "VIRUS!", to deter anyone who doesn't know anything about computers, and by gosh, it worked.
My room mate named these. He has a good sense of humour.

For tethering a wifi device via my LTE phone I use TARDISNet.
For friend's internet box setups I use a star system name and number upwards, like vega14 etc.

Mine is named after the Iifa tree in Final Fantasy IX.

There's no real danger of anyone local hacking it - I'm surrounded by old people - but I still don't broadcast it.

Aw man... Mine's just a bunch of random numbers that came with the WiFi...

Although, I do remember this one network name one of my neighbors had a long time ago called "I'm Doin' Your Mom"... and I'm pretty sure they were referencing <link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfYyBp4Ln2s>this song in particular...

Mine's just my address. My password is a "real one" though, even if it's really not that likely that anyone would try to tap in, I'm too high up to be targeted from the street, and my neighbours all have their own internet.

Mine is just what the Virgin Media installation guy named it. It's the default "virginmedia09098385038385"(I don't know the actual number). By the looks of it there are no hilarious wifi names in my vicinity just default ISP ones like "BTHub" and "Sky093".
