Technically the Wii is my brother's, not mines. However, I was the one who got some of the good games, including Okami, Super Paper Mario, Mario Kart Wii, and The Conduit.
My absolute favourite out of all the above would have to go to Okami. I've spent over 40 hours in that game and it was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and loved just about every category of it (visuals, gameplay, audio, etc.). I only paid $35 CAD for it but I would have gladly paid full price for this awesome game. Wish an Okami sequel would come out - its sad the original developers got disbanded. There's always hope for Amateratsu Okami to appear in Tasunoko vs Capcom though.
After that, I don't know what else. RE4, Legend of Zelda, SSBB, Super Mario Galaxy, and MP3 are all up in for 2nd place.
I am looking forward to Metroid Prime Trilogy in August. 3 awesome games for the price of 1, comes with enhancements to the first 2 games, and overall feels like a collector's edition. Considering I never really played the first 2 (only a bit of MP1), this will definitely be worth the money.
There are a ton of other Wii games to look forward to but I won't bother posting them all up here. I've also been interested in getting GCN controller/memory card to play GCN games. I basically missed out on a ton of things in the last generation of consoles.
For downloadable games, I got Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars from Virtual Console and I still have 1200 points left unspent. Super Mario RPG is a pretty darn good game for only 800 Wii points. Totally worth it, its fun and charming. I still haven't beaten it yet thanks to the classic "Make the last boss really hard and the last level really annoying to backtrack through so the player has to play for several more hours in order to get better items/more levels before beating the game".
If anyone is interested, I keep a list of "good Wii games", whether they're released or upcoming. There is quite a lot of good Wii games but not surprisingly, they don't receive the same amount of marketing and nearly no one knows anything except the 1st party titles.
