So what Wii games do you own? Which one is your favorite? Why? Which Wii game are you intending to get next? Any you're personally waiting for? Any other games you play on the Nintendo Wii (such as GameCube, VC, or WiiWare) that was definitely worth your money?

It's time to open a discussion over what Wii games are fun and worthwhile.

Let's try to have a nice, decent conversation for once. If you don't have a Nintendo Wii, then you really have no reason to post here.

I'm going to now list what games I own off the top of my head:

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime 3
Rayman: Raving Rabbids
Avatar: Last Airbender 2
Heavenly Guardian
One Piece: Unlimited Adventure
Ghost Squad
Resident Evil 4
Lego Star Wars: Complete
Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility
Rune Factory Frontier
No More Heroes
Spyro (the first of two on the Wii)
Tales of Symphonia 2
Zack & Wiki
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Wii Play
Speed Racer
and, of course, Wii sports

I rented quite a few on the side and sold Splinter Cell: Double Agent at one point to a used game store.

I also have a long list of GameCube games, and I downloaded Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario World from the VC.

That about covers it. My favorite Wii game is, believe it or not, the One Piece game. They not only have the controls down, but it has favorable characters and settings, and random things you can do outside of running around and beating up bosses. Behind that I also found Ghost Squad, Metroid, and Zelda really good.

edit - I made an update to the thread here: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.110459?page=2#2727891

Wii Sports
Wii Play
Twilight Princess
RE4
Metroid Prime 3
No More Heroes
Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2
SSBB
Super Mario 64 (VC)
Some dumb WWII airplane game
Tony Hawk: Downhill Jam (SUCKS ASS)

I don't have too much. I just stopped caring after a while. I wasn't such a fan of Metroid Prime 3 (why not just play a console shooter?). I liked RE4 a lot, but then again, if the Wii's best games are ports from past generations, then something has definitely gone wrong. Twilight Princess was great, and so was No More Heroes. SSBB and Rayman are fun to bust out with a few friends, and the rest are godawful. Super Mario 64 is good though, so I can take solace in the fact that if I ever do recover my Wii from under the massive piles of infinitely better Xbox 360 games, I will be able to go back to the Virtual Console and Madworld.

Wii only? Or can I throw in some GC games in for good measure?
Wii: Rockband, Rockband 2, Guitar Hero 3, SSBB, Mario Kart, Wii Sports, Wii Play, No More Heroes, Twilight Princess, DBZB2.
Favorite out of those was between SSBB and NMH

VC: Golden Axe 3, Gunstar Heroes, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario 64, Legend Of Zelda LTTP, Sonic 2, Kirby 64.

Wiiware: Gyrosphere? can't remember the name.

I think I have:
Wii Sports
SSBB
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Twilight Princess
Madden 09
Wii Fit
The only game that I've played on a consistent basis is Brawl. And I rarely play that these days.

You can also state what GameCube games you have. I was going to with the first post, but it would have made my initial list more intimidating. 2007 was a great year to go crazy over the cheap GameCube games in the used game stores.

All I have are Wii Sports and SSX Blur. All the other games are either rather childish or rated M, meaning my parents won't let me buy them....

The main franchises (Zelda, Metroid, etc.) are okay (please don't kill me, fanboys...), but I'd rather spend money on games for PC.

Allright,
I've got:

Mario galaxy
Mariokart
Lego Indiana Jones
Wii play-meh, But it came with a (mostly) free controller
and, of course, wii sports

I'm currently trying to locate a cheap copy of Twilight Princess. Right now, I'm playing through on successive libray loans.

Edit: I also have some miscellaneous Gamecube games. Nothing really mentioning there though.

For the Wii? I'm kinda limited so far. All I got's Wii Sports, Wii Play (which I never use), and Tales of Symphonia 2. I do plan to get SSBB, Twilight Princess, Boom Blox, Fire Emblem, and that new Wii Sports sequel thing.

If I add GC on to that list, then SSBM, Soul Calibur 2, Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time (Master Quest), Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos (and Origins), Skies of Arcadia, Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. And probably one or two more I'm forgetting.

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime 3
Rayman: Raving Rabbids
Resident Evil 4 Wii
No More Heroes
Zack & Wiki
Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Those are good, I'll ad these:

Warioware Smooth Moves
Pikmin Wii
Excite Truck
Order Up!
Deadly Creatures
House of the Dead Overkill
Mario Strikers Charged
Super Mario Galaxy
Blastworks
Boom Blox
Pinball Hall of Fame the Williams Collection (only if you like old school pinball)

Personally, I bought the Wii for VC, but I'm really getting annoyed that a lot of developers realized that they can make $40 by releasing a game for the DS instead of releasing it on VC.
