Those are simply achievements, Mario cowered in a corner whispering "I can do it" to himself before setting out on his adventure. That is what makes a goal.

I don't think that a bundle game should count, even if you can buy it separately. I'm seriously doubting that all those sales are just counting non-bundles...

That's like McDonalds saying their boxes are the best selling in the world because everyone who buys a Big Mac gets one.

What about Demo 1 then? There's a hundred million PS1's kicking about out there, every single one of which had a Demo 1 with it, surely that's the biggest selling game of all time then?

I bet you could buy the Big Mac boxes if you wanted to. My "friend" use to buy Mcdonald's hash browns by the case, he had to set it up with the manager and pay in advance but still.

I would argue with the semantics there: as someone already mentioned, Minesweeper (as well as SOLITAIRE) have most likely outsold Wii Play, as they're included with MS OS's, and you can purchase those seperately, if you so desired.

I really don't think they should be able to count every Wii sale, outside of Japan, as a sale for Wii Sports, it's just not the same. Stick with best selling console Nintendo and have done with it.

Yeah I agree this really doesn't count. I think Tetris is the best-selling GB game of all time but again that's because it was bundled with the Game Boy itself, which is a bit skewed.
