A lot of people putting Zelda: TP. That game was a whole lot better on the console it was actually designed for, y'know, the Gamecube.

There were so few and they were so sparse that the only good game I can think of is Skyward Sword.

Those are probably my favourite games on the system. There's more that I thought were good but I wouldn't call them favourites

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (played both the Wii and GC version and I would say that the GC version is better, but that doesn't mean the Wii version is bad. It's just not as good as the GC one)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Paper Mario
Monster Hunter Tri
Okami
Sengoku Bazara (don't know the full name)
Sakura Wars
Lost in Shadow(s?)
Fire Emblem
Red Steel 2
No More Heroes
No More Heroes 2
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Mario Kart Wii
Metroid Prime 3:Corruption
Metroid:Other M
Little King's Story
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Kirby Returns to Dreamland
Xenoblades Chronicle
The Last Story
.
.
.
(in no particular order, except Skyward Sword, it's first... and Okami could be second, followed by Lost in Shadow, Last Story and SSBB)

That's what I can remember without thinking to much. But there are probably some more.
And from the looks of it, I will really enjoy Pandora's Tower.

TBH, The Wii has more games I liked than any of the other 2 consoles.

Metroid Prime 3
& Smash Bros Brawl (though I have reservations about certain elements in it)

That's isn't everything I've rented or own; and only one those games has the motion controls down correctly (the one and only real selling point of the Wii).

The Wii isn't a particularly good or useful system from my perspective.

Rune Factory
No More Heros
Monster Hunter Tri
Mario Party 8
Xenoblade Chronicles (sure it's not out in America yet but I'll know I'll love it)

Not to mention I never had a Gamecube so I get to play all those games I missed on the Wii. Yay backwards compatibility!

Well, mostly what others have said i liked well enough.

The best for me though are :

Ghost squad
House of the dead 2&3
House of the dead overkill.

All light gun games. Why? Because we dont really have lightguns any more due to the TV's we get nowadays. These games i think made the most of the motion controls.

I think its quite funny that the games which are considered the "best" on the system dont even use motion controls, or very little.

Hell even monster hunter 3 said "fuck it" and came with a proper controller! X)

One of my favorite games on the Wii is Trauma Center: New Blood. Surgery. Hell yes.
Play Trauma Team. It's even better.
I agree 200%. Its so awesome.

I like Muramasa, Fragile Dreams(think Zelda in a Silent Hill atmosphere.) Rune Factory Tides of Destiny(got it for PS3 but if you don't have a PS3 yet you have a Wii, get this.)

Let me see, of the games I actually HAVE...

No More Heroes 1/2
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Paper Mario
Okami

Now, INCLUDING those I have tried that is not mine...

Resident Evil 4

...Yeah, not really many games that have stood out for me. I have a lot of them, but most are medi-ocre, and not really worth mentioning.

hmmmmmm...uuuuhhhhh...

yeah thats it
Same here. That said, I don't play much of the Wii, period, Prime 3 was good enough to keep me playing until the end.

those were just ones off the top of my head as i'm at work (and what's wrong with liking first party games!? i mean, the main reason for having a wii is the nintendo games ;) )

other non-first party games i liked:
geometry wars: galaxies
the conduit
ghostbusters
baroque

i always wanted to pick up muramasa: the demon blade, and probably would have if i didn't buy a ps3. i still might buy it, its cheap enough.
Geometry Wars? Fine. Ghostbusters? Maybe. Baroque? Could have niche appeal, but Conduit was a poorly done, uninspired cookie-cutter low-budget bland tripe. Not like Conduit 2. That's a great game improved in every way.
so what? the thread is about games i liked, not what you or reviewers thought about it. i liked the conduit for its weapon variety, setting, and visuals.

Endless Ocean. Shut up, I thought it was fun. In hindsight, that was back when I was seriously considering Marine Biology as my major. So happy I didn't follow through with that.

Just so my gamer card doesn't get completely revoked, I'll say I quite enjoyed Smash Bros. Brawl as well.

-Super Mario Galaxy (say what you like, I believe Mario's still got it, or at least had it back in 2007)
-Okami (PS2 version has better combat, Wii version has better brush mechanics - either way, it's still amazing)
-Zack and Wiki (best P&C adventure I've played in a while)
-Metroid Prime Trilogy (think Super Metroid in first person, and with a very intuitive aiming system)
-Xenoblade (Skyrim, but with vibrant colours and better combat - yes, I just compared a Japanese RPG favourably to Skyrim, and I mean it)

And OP just reminded me - I really mean to find Muramasa sometime. I'm still very interested in playing it...
