I couldn't imagine playing a game with a controller like that. It looks as flat as the PSP. Does anyone else have an opinion on this? And Also Link doesn't look very good in HD, i think he could use a bit more texturing

Its very early days yet, I'm sure the textures in the video aren't final. The controller does look a bit bulky but at the same time its another very unique concept coming from nintendo

Well, that's an early tech demo, probably using a beta version of the actual graphical engine.

As for the controller itself, eh I've played with worse. I'm still curious as to how developers will take advantage of the screen on it. Please please please, let them not just use it for shovelware.

is the wii-u an attempt to replace all the broken monitors destroyed by confused wii users playing wii sports?

Also, ive always thought that having a bigger monitor would make it more ok to put more in the HUD, like a minimap and/or inventory. regardless, nintendo now offer a controller with its own screen so that your bloated 50" monitor doesnt have to be filled with these minor things. its kinda opposite thinking in my opinion. maybe its because i played wow with 10 times more information on screen than most players that i feel like that...
