Wii-U limited to just ONE tablet, does that affect your buying decision?

Fantastic, because the Wii U does multiplayer with up to 5 people at once. Four of whom simply use Wii Remotes (+ attachments).

Personally I'm glad that I won't have to buy extra controllers, but can simply use the ones I already have for my Wii. Granted, this means that multiplayer won't allow multiple players to have their own unique secondary screens, but that might just be for the best. If nothing else, the Pac-Man VS-style "4vs1" concept spawned by the two control types might create some interesting multiplayer modes.

Ouch. This was the piece of news that turned me from cautiously excited to skeptic.

Do they have a good workaround for this? One that doesn't involve buying a 3DS? The fact that it's a Nintendo console kind of makes it worse. They need to go out and explain how exactly they had planned for this to work, because right now it seems like they're fumbling in the dark...
