It's sad that it has become common to ask for last gen ports and remakes when a new console comes out.
To be fair, this is a case where it's somewhat justifiable. The Wii U lost the war by a landslide, and the Switch is already looking like it'll easily have a larger install base.WeepingAngels said:It's sad that it has become common to ask for last gen ports and remakes when a new console comes out.
I want to say this. I really, really want to say this because I hate how much of the PS4/Xbone library is stuff I already loved on the PS3/360...but that being said, I haven't played Paper Mario: Color Splash and at this point I would rather get it on Switch than the Wii U. I wouldn't mind getting Tokyo Mirage Session a second time too especially since it plays like a Persona game and those generally get shiny new editions every so often. Then there's the jerk-ass in me that really does want to see Devil's Third given another chance. I legitimately liked that game but I didn't have much time with the MP.Yoshi178 said:Nothing. i already have all the Wii U games i want.
give me new games damn it!
To be fairer, if the people who want Wii U games to be ported had bought them on the Wii U then A) They wouldn't need to have them ported B) The Wii U would have done better.DarklordKyo said:To be fair, this is a case where it's somewhat justifiable. XCX definitely deserves to be played, its game play was basically the 2.0 version of the original game. Where it suffered was its story and characters... they were lame.Chimpzy said:Well yeah, the Wii game is my favorite console straight up jrpg[footnote]Valkyria Chronicles beats it, but that's a strategy rpg[/footnote] of its generation and the sole reason Xenoblade Chronicles X catches my interest. That said, if the latter is really a meh game, I'm probably going to relegate it to 'maybe nab a cheap secondhand copy when I decide to get a second hand Wii U'.Yoshi178 said:Xenoblade Chronicles X was pretty meh.
Xenoblade Chronicles Wii was a million times better in all honesty
Huh, if Smash 4 were to come to the Switch, think the Ice Climbers would finally get their HD debut?marioandsonic said:Either a port of Smash 4, or a new Smash.
Either way, I also want the Wii U Gamecube adapter to be compatible.
From what I've heard, the developers got the Ice Climbers working on the Wii U version, but the 3DS version was having problem with them. Since they wanted to keep the rosters the same for both version, they sadly had to be cut.DarklordKyo said:Huh, if Smash 4 were to come to the Switch, think the Ice Climbers would finally get their HD debut?marioandsonic said:Either a port of Smash 4, or a new Smash.

Wouldn't the game be fundamentally broken though?, it's built with the gyro controls in mind.Guilion said:Starfox Zero without the fucking gyros. Then I MAY consider actually getting a Switch.
i own it. it's meh. its fun and seems to have a cool story but it's very forgettable. it's basically a paper sticker star that doesn't suck total arse. just meh, average. nothing more nothing less.Shoggoth2588 said:I haven't played Paper Mario: Color Splash
had a cool story from what i played. but i didn't really like the gameplay that much. but then again turn based RPGs like that probably just aren't for me and don't hold my interestShoggoth2588 said:I wouldn't mind getting Tokyo Mirage Session
lol i bought that game really cheap in a store clearence sale. still haven't played it yet. it's literally only my backlog just so i can eventually look at it when i feel like it and see just how bad it is XDShoggoth2588 said:Then there's the jerk-ass in me that really does want to see Devil's Third given another chance.
