Wrong, ML3 was cancelled due to lack of 3DS sales. Can't blame Capcom for not wanting to lose money on a foreseeable flop. The 3DS just isn't moving fast enough. While I'm not entirely surprised MGS3's Remake is still going on board(Kojima wants to test the technology of the 3DS rather than do it for the money), I can't see it selling on the 3DS. Plus it's M rated so it has 2 major hurdles against it.

Look at what happened to GTA Chinatown Wars. From a series that continuously sets and then breaks it's highest/fastest selling Guinness Records, this installment failed. Do you blame Rockstar? No. Why? Because Nintendo markets their console for the family audience so hard that most M rated games do modest at best on their consoles. GTA:CW didn't even do modest until they slashed prices in half the 3rd week after release.

Capcom isn't the only company that is less than pleased with Nintendo's handling of 3rd party 'core' games. Sega had two M rated 'core' games flop on the Wii, MadWorld & House of The Dead Overkill. Since then the only Sega games to come out on the Wii contain the word Sonic. I'm not saying that it's always the console manufacturer's fault when a game fails, but in recent years Nintendo hasn't help it's case much.

no offense but this game is meant to be played on a computer
No it isn't.

It's just meant to be played.

Typical PC elitism.
As a recently switched PC gamer I have to agree with the above statement. TES has worked well on consoles very well. The only thing that really differentiates the the 2 platforms when it comes to TES is the mods, and really, most of the mods suck. I don't know why everyone uses mods as an excuse for why TES is always "meant" to be played on the PC (Even though Todd Howard has repeatedly stated that his favourite console is the 360 so he build his games for that console in mind). Most of the mods are essentially cheats. Very few of them actually improve the game. I personally judge a game by how the developers made the game, not by how much people add to it.

I think the day a a major Elder Scrolls game appears on a Nintendo console is the day that the PC Elitists will finally drink the Kool-Aid.
Ah, but can you download mods on the WiiU? That'll be the real draw for us PC elitists...well, for me, anyway.
96% of the mods for the Elder Scrolls (and any other game really) are absolute shit. About 2% are decent and 1% are actually good enough to be worth discussing.

That last 1% can be of varying quality but are not things you can discuss on a.......polite forum such as this.
1% of however many is still better than 0.

OT: I won't be getting Skyrim on it, but this means Bethesda will probably support it later on. At least that's definitely good news.
Yes, but considering that many of those mods won't be available for 5 months for more, its not much of a point in the PC's favor.

That makes no sense at all. Really. By that logic, having a baby means nothing to the people who want one because it takes nine months.

And the Wii U version will come long after, anyway.

Please no... Every time a game is ported from one console to a Nintendo console, it looks like balls.
I have yet to see a game that is ported from one console to a Nintendo console, and look the same, if not better.
Making Skyrim work for the Wii U is like making CoD work for the Wii-... Wait...
