Wii won't read GameCube memory card

Card works fine in the GC, the Wii just won't detect it. My only guess is that it's a MadCatz and not a Nintendo card. Firmware is 3.1u.

Take it out and blow on it. It heals everything.

A, it works on the GameCube, so that's not the problem. B, blowing doesn't remove dust, it ads moisture which helps in the short term but causes bacteria build up in the long term, which will eventually corrupt it.
