As a PC Gamer first and foremost and a WOW hater (its works not play!) I still think it will be an amazing year for games, but that depends on the end product. So this is much short list of games that are 90% guaranteed to rock.
Portal 2 - Only game company I know that will throw out half a game and a year of work if said content is not up to snuff, Valve cannot make a bad game, it's part of their DNA.
DA2 -Bioware has never made a bad game
ME3 -They are the gaming equivalent of Peter Jackson (I'd say Nolan but Jackson fits better)
Deus Ex 2- say gameplay at TGS, looks like the original + plus advances of the last decade
Batman Arkham City - This studio opened it big game business with the first batman, melding the DC Animated, Comic, and movie francise into a better whole, they know what they are doing no reason to expect less from the sequel.
The Witcher 2 - First game is firmly in my top games of all time, right next to Grim Fandango and the Valve games. They seem to be turning it up to 11 for the sequal with all their own tech.
The Old Republic - as a rule i cannot stand MMO's, they all feel like second jobs - that i pay to go to, however please see above for the trust in BioWare statement
As for the other stuff:
DNF - Gearbox makes games that range for C- to A-, have never really made a truly exception game, and this game is someone elses work too. We will see.
LA Noir look promising but then again its Rockstar and their games have only gottn more boring the more "gritty" they have gone. If they do not use this facial tech so i can play the game organically i won't see the appeal, and i will probably know who the killer is 5 min. in.
Diablo 3 - meh
Elder Scrolls 5 - they had a lot to fix from 4, to make me buy 5 that and its doubtful to ship this year
