Will Prey 2017 will fill the Gap of Half life 3?

I'm seriously concerned about what is going to happen to B-Cell if Prey comes out and doesn't revolutionize the immersive sim genre, leap graphics tech 15 years forward, and rub our balls for us.

Same thing that happened when his glorious Mankind Divided and Quantum Break were letdowns for him. Nothing. He'll just hype up the next old-school shooter.

Mankind divided is solid game. its just half game and more like DLC to HR after 6 years.

I was never dissapointed by Doom. it turn out better than i expected.

Aren't you the same guy who months and months ago asked if this game was going to be the next big evolution of the FPS or something? The answer back then was no. And now it's "Fuck no, why would you even think that?" Based off a couple of screenshots? I wish I had the capacity to get excited as easily. Because no matter how you slice it, Prey is not Half-Life.

It's not even a Prey sequel. The whole fighting aliens with Native American spirit powers was goofy as hell but it was also the thing that made the game stand out at all.

but the game was mediocre and has no challange at all because you cant die in that game.

New Prey is neither like old prey or cancelled prey 2 instead its immersive sim like system shock.

New Prey looks much more interesting than mediocre first prey or far cry in space bounty hunter game that cancelled prey 2 was.

My point is that I don't even know why it's called Prey at all when it has virtually nothing to do with the original. Why attach this new game to it when Prey was mediocre at best and the only thing this new game has that's the same is that it involves aliens.

Prey means you are hunted for food and in this game aliens hunt you for food.

they purchase the name and they wanted to use it. it was suppose to be new ip by arkane but bathesda decide to name it Prey.

It's a worthless unconfirmed report that shouldn't have been published. They even admitted themselves that it should be taken with a grain of salt. I'm gonna remember all your naysaying when Half-Life 3 is revealed.

you guys said same thing in 2011 when we were on GT. back in 2011 i used to believe half life 3 can be real but i also feel it may not release.

Now Valve do not make games anymore. thier last game was released in 2011.

I believe when i see it.

Next Half life game or valve game would definintely save gaming. if they are working on anything. they will announce next year and will release in 2020.

This is kinda what bothers me. At this point, Prey isn't even a brand or anything. Why even associate this new game with it? It's not like there was a trilogy of Prey games nor is it a long beloved franchise. It was just an okay game with a rather overhyped sequel that never came to be.

The funny thing about it that people need to realize though, is that this is a B-Cell thread; all bets are off.

It could, theoretically. But then so could a litre and a half of vodka and an intravenous morphine drip, temporarily. People tend to get a bit judgy with the latter though, especially if it's their vodka and morphine drip you procure. Best to play it safe and invite yourself to somebody else's place who bought the game to try it out. Doesn't even matter if you know them, just say I sent you. It'll probably work itself out somehow. Return to me with results if you do, I'm collecting data for the records.
