No not really the reason why is I have done nothing wrong or illegal. Hell I don't even use my headset nor do I play online often so this really doesn't effect me. Also chances are they already know what I have been playing on my PC and PS3 by the time of this post so changing my habits now won't change their opinion of me due to the games I have played/own.

I'm pretty sure they already know about my +20 hours of Katawa Shoujo, Morenatsu, and Yu Gi Oh doujin.

I have nothing to hide anymore.

spying within games is hardly the most outrageous example of privacy being invaded. They're not even serious about catching terrorists, this is just another example of America's fetish for private contractors. Lockheed Martin says give us money so we can catch WoW criminals and they just do it.

Really, there are much worse things, like logging every single action your PC makes.

*Continues to play his single player games* Ya...no... not really.

Also am I the only one imagining the NSA agens payed to walk around Second Life with default avatars with a "Not the NSA Group" tag above their heads standing quietly in the corner of R18 dance clubs. Cause that image is hilarious.

I personally hope for a website that compromises videogame spies so that I could hunt them down then fuck with them. Waist their time and money chasing a troll in-game with the greater part of the internet's eyes to look on in disbelief and amusement. XD

Because I'm using my gaming habbits to smuggle money, shush. I feel sorry for the poor fuck at the NSA who has to go through everybody's bullshit, and pick out the person out of a thousand who MIGHT be a terrorist.

Because gamers lives are so dang important. They'll steal all the photo's I've gathered on alien spacecrafts and silence the truth.

You yanks always get a giggle out of me, never change.

I know not buying a game console will not prevent all invasions on my privacy. However, there's a chance I could get mauled by a bear. There's a better chance of getting attacked by a bear if I have one in my living room. Likewise, I could be playing a game on Xbox One. I get a phone call, and put the game on pause. Yet, the camera and microphone is still on. So, during the course of the conversation, I get into a political discussion. Out of frustration, I say, "Someone should kill the President!" If the NSA was listening, do you think that they would act on that?

Security and privacy are not on the opposite end of the same spectrum. You can reasonably secure a country without invading everybody privacy. We simply need reasonable check and balances with the NSA. As in, don't spy on someone unless you have reasonable suspicion to do so. We don't have that check and balance in place, and that is what causing a lot of people anxiety.
I think the country has killed just as many people if not more then any war or terrorist attack. I would rather protect the citizens from there country rather then the citizens protected from a Foreign threat. I'm counting the mass slaughter of Native Americans too.

its ironic because American soldiers are fighting to protect rights that the NSA is violating.
Is this something you truly believe? Because I'm very doubtful that's the case.
Not really. Its just that both are huge waste of money that will destroy the world economy like the 08 recession. Trillon dollars and Billion dollar spy programs

You're not being serious, are you? Is there really any need to predict global doom because a federal program is overstepping its authority?
