Majora's Mask is still the best game ever made, tho'. Bitches be all, "Yo dude, if games is an art, then where's yo' Citizen Kane?" And I'm like, "Foo'! What was you doin' in the year 2000? We already got that shit!"

Majora's Mask.

Also, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess were at least as good if not slightly better.

A Link to the Past is the superior. Why don't you just turn this into a poll to find out which everyone votes is best rather than asking a stupid question that you KNOW not everybody agrees with?

I hated Majora's Mask, the time travel pissed me off to no end when I'd run out of time to complete a dungeon and had to start over again, I guess that's why there was only four. I also didn't figure out until half way through that the back sits in a different plane of existence and is not effected by our narrow concept of time for some reason, and so didn't revert back to having nothiing in it. The dungeons were still creative though, so I wouldn't call it bad by any stretch, but not even half as good as OoT either.

Personally, I have a soft spot for Link's Awakening.
OoT was my favourite. However, I have only played that and the original Zelda when I was around 10. Still OoT is one of my favourite games ever, so take what you will...

A lot of people shouted out other favorites (mine is mind waker) already. Ocarina may have been revolutionary for its time, but its kind of a product of nostalgia these days. Whether you realize it or not there is still a lot of progression in Legend of Zelda, even if they aren't as ground breaking.

I prefer Twilight Princess in every way and I think you're all blinded by nostalgia just like I'll be in 10 years.

My personal favorite is Majora's Mask, it had a much more drawn out story which covered darker themes and even had a slight personal feeling to it or maybe that was just me, you see the Christmas I got Majora's Mask was right after a death in my family which hit me really hard, and to have a game in which one of the major themes is healing after death really helped me.
I also Loved Wind Waker

Wind Waker imo surpassed the past 3D zelda games and wasn't touched by TP(2D ones still FTW)the huge open world made it feel much more of an adventure game, and finding each islands secrets took a lot of my time, but never felt taxing. although i wasn't a fan of fishing for those damn maps. The temples were fun and challenging at times, the bosses in particular stand out to me as the best in the series.
This is of course not to say that OoT wasn't revolutionary for its time (cuz it was). Or that MM wasent tough and innovative (also, cuz it was) but WW packed so much experience into one game, with a vast open ended map to actually explore. i like adventure in my adventure games.
TP felt like more of a rehash than a step forward, hopefully LoZSS with rectify this.

Fixed! I love ALttP. My favorite game of all time, and the only reason I still have an SNES hooked up.

I'm FAR too blinded by nostalgia to judge that subjectively.

That said I think OOT is the best.
There were a whole parcel of Zelda games before Ocarina, and as good as it was, it is not the game in the line that represents the original look of the franchise. It marked the change in direction.

I personally thought OOT felt short, and preferred "Wind Waker" and "Link to the Past."

Considering that "better" is a matter of opinion, it depends. I've never played a Zelda game (well, 3-5 minutes of one once), so I can't really say...

In my opinion, every 3D Zelda game made since Ocarina of Time has been better.

There is and as most of have already been posted it nostalgia talking.

I loved this game called "Silver" when i was a kid and i tried it out now and found out that it actully was quite mediocre. Nostalgia is a powerfull thing.
