Will you be buying Dead Island?

I'm probably not going to get it because zombies are in every other game nowadays. I'm just tired of this cliche. It sort of looks like L4D and doesn't seem that different from any other zombie shooter.

I'm interested, but strapped for cash in regards to games, so if I can wing it, yes, if I can't then no.

On release, probably not, when it goes down to about £25 - £30 yeah, then I'll pick it up. Zombies are always fun when you can kill them

It certainly piques my interest. I like that there's a focus on the melee combat; you know, getting up close and personal with the zombies. I just hope that in this focus, whatever gun combat they add doesn't feel trite and misplaced.

I'm not much for zombie games, think they've gotten a bit too mainstream, but I'll probably pick it up when the price drops... a lot.

The walkthrough trailer was very impressive. The melee combat actually looks interesting, and I like how it seems to treat guns - as an instant "win" button that runs out of ammo rapidly.

Mainly because it's coop. My friends are all excited to play this together. It'll most likely be a day 1 buy for us.

It does look like a lot of fun. Even with all the gameplay that one 12 minute dev walkthrough, we really haven't seen much of it.

And, my friends are shitting themselves over it, so we'll be able to stomp on zombies in co-op.

It looks good, but the kind of "good" in the same way that it looks like it came out of the oven a tad too early - even though the game got delayed for 4+ years to some playtesting-flaws could be improved.

There has been a few videos of gameplay so far. One was twelve minutes and the other one was like 20 and I'm sure there is more. You should probably do a bit of searching before shoving your foot in your mouth.

Anyway yes I'm looking forward to it.
