IMO he sounds like a normal voiced typical guy trying to make his voice raspy. It doesn't sound natural. Its better than the last voice and I like the fact that the New old Cole is intergrated into the comis style cutscenes.
I was holding on to the hope that this was a different Cole, but with the confirmation of Zeke in the trailer, its pretty much killed it for me.
I really don't like his new voice compared to the original, it just sounds wrong (voice doesn't match the face) and the overall quality doesn't seem as good (dialogue and delivery). I may be slightly biased because I thought the ending in the original was amazing, and that was largely down to dialogue and delivery of it (See below). It seems like they're intent on making Cole more generic.
