So... those characters that episode by episode (issue, chapter, etc) you just want to Die, but keep getting off the hook somehow.

This was inspired by the 2nd season of Iron Blooded Orphans, where the last major battle added Rustal Elion to my hate list, while Lok Kujan as been on there since the Hashmal Arc.

Ok, lok was kinda fun at first, like getting a male Carta Issue right off the bat, though where she had a genuine sense of honour, 'only' killed a main character, and proceeded to get a pretty brutal and tragic end (yes, I felt sorry for her), Lok has shown himself to a pretty shady little shit, and through a mixture of incompetence and malice killed a lot of people.
(A) he blunders into a sensitive situation, unleashing hashmal, a Kill All Humans AI weapon of incredible power, getting his subordinates killed
(B) he interferes in an ambush for hashmal, accidentally pulling it towards a civilian agricultural centre, whereupon it kills everyone there
(C) To regain his 'lost face', takes illegal weapons out of storage to frame allies of the heroes, and when the leader and his wife tries to surrender so the rest of their crew can escape, ignores the surrender and uses the illegal weapons to fire on the fleeing transports, destroying at least one, and ends up killing the leader and his wife.

the worst part, his stupidity keeps putting him the crosshairs, but every damn time he narrowly squeaks out of it on pure luck, or someone else saving his ass.

Ah a fellow IBO fan and yes I feel the same way toward that character especially the recent episode (well ok I did thought it was way too easy for him to be kill in that one)!

I also like to point on with C in the spoiler, his foolish act did put Gjallarhorn under the spotlight when it come to abusing their powers.

The only one I can think of at the moment is the Creeper from Jeeper Creepy and aswell the monster from Stranger Thing. Seriously those two can take a beaten but at the same thing, what extreme method would killed those two for good? Toss them into lava or something! I mean heck Creeper got run over TWICE!

Benny from George Lopez (the sitcom). She was terrible and abusive and deserved no forgiveness ever.

Malcolm Merlynn officially hit this point back in Arrow season 3. And he's STILL around.

Carnage. I like him as a villain, but he needs to get some real consequences for his actions.

Lenny from walking dead telltale games. I am horrible person. But he's worse. "Unreasonable" is too kind a word but most applicable for him. A lot of nice people died, but not Lenny. Never Lenny. *Sigh* Maybe it's part of the existential crisis portrayed in the setting, but that doesn't excuse him.

The kid I threw down the well when I mis-clicked sure died. He was pretty annoying though, so I didn't reload.

I can't remember who Lenny is.

This question is tough to answer with a particular example because all too often ridiculously illogical people who get their allies killed or evil people don't die or get otherwise removed from the equation because the plot would end right there. That's a symptom of bad writing; when you rely on people having idiot balls constantly being placed in their court. How many times has the hero had a golden opportunity to get rid of someone they know is no good only to stall for no reason whatsoever, leading to more people getting killed?

I have to agree with you on that.

Daisy from Marvel: Agents of Shield. I'd had enough of her last season. There are literally a lot more characters in that show that are more interesting than her.

Tyrion Lannister. In a world where supposedly anyone can die, he's wearing some of thickest plot armor in fiction.

I vividly remember feeling this way with Majin Buu in DBZ.

Vegeta sacrifices his life to kill Buu? Reforms from the chunks of his body that were left behind.
Gotenks blows him up and blats the chunks? Reforms from the smoke.
Blows himself up because he can't touch Gohan? It was literally just to buy time.

Seriously, reforming from the smoke was the point where I was just getting tired of how overpowered his regeneration was. I really just wanted him to die so bad at that point.

Also, the Armored Titan in Attack on Titan. He's still alive in the manga and that asshole really needs to die already. Considering all the shit he's done, the fact that he keeps escaping death is just aggravating.

Maybe the Armor also applies to... Plot Armour? :p

But as a example for myself, I wouldn't quite say a full on die, but Marisha's Keyleith from Critical Role has quite frequently frustrated me to no end.

This is why I heavily disliked Buu, the saga and character, in general. The Buu saga was lets do the Cell saga again, but how can we make it suck? Also, Gohan being kicked out of being the main protagonist just to satisfy Goku fan boys were a big sticking point for me as well. According to official sources, the Suits wouldn't ley Toriyama have Gohan as the main protagonist, because he wasn't "popular" enough. And people say Dragonball went downhill when GT happened. Before any starts on Super, I don't care about the show, and it might as well be glorified bad fanfiction.

Hao Asakura (Shaman King manga version). He gets killed in the TV adaption, yet lives in the original version. Not only that, but he gets what he wants without destroying humanity. The major issues is that the fuckwad is an overpowered, Villain Sue, not worth sympathizing in the slightest. He's killed over 1000 people human or shaman alike. Why doe he deserve to be shaman king? Because he had a horrible past? Hell, no. There are plenty of characters that had it worse than him, and they didn't want to kill all of humanity. The author comes off as self-righteous twat with his forced Green Aseop/Humans Are the Real Monsters trite. A 5 year hiatus, and that's the best you can come up with?! Fuck you! Fuck your boy toy villain! And fuck your hypocritical views!

Lucy from well....Lucy. Shooting a guy for not speaking English? Luc Besson, there is no way I should care what happens to your "hero" now. The only person worth rooting for was Morgan Freeman's character.

Lucy from Elfen Lied - She caused so much unnecessary death on innocent people that, you can even get me to care about her. Drop dead.

Now maybe die is a strong word for Suyin Beifong, but the vitch is just responsible for Kuvira's rise to power as she is. Like the Spirits, she won't get involved unless something is going on in her own backyard. Suyin claims to hate big government, and I'm like *****, you're in charge of a government. Maybe not as big as the entire Earth Kingdom or Republic City, but you still have a responsibility; like it or not! And speaking of the Spirits, I wouldn't have mind if they got punished for their cowardice. Refusing to help Korra, because she dares ask for help?! Apparently that makes her like Kuvira? What goddamn sense does that make?! If Kuvira didn't start blasting them, I would have unleashed Hell (specifically the one from Doom) myself on to them to teach them a lesson. Before opening the portal to hell, I would have said "Wanna play game?". I swear Suyin and Spirits make characters like Silvia Christel, Starscream, or Dr. Robotnik look braver and smarter by comparison. They're just bitches in a box stand.

Carl from "The Walking Dead" TV series. His plot armour was so thick it deflected deaths onto other characters. Didn't help that he was a little shit who took basically no responsibility for anything he said or did.

Oh, God, yes. I actually used to like him...

OT: Hmmm, Batman I guess? I really want some other person to take over already, even if just for a bit. Seeing Tim or even Jason take up the cowl could be cool.
