It's the things that I do see we are capable of, when we put aside the truly petty ambitions, that I still have hope. It's quite amazing to be honest what the human mind and spirit are capable of.Fragamoo said:Pick up a history book and read about what humanity is capable of. Of course, humanity is also capable of a tremendous deal of good as well, I am not so silly as to take the view that we are purely malicious creatures.
However, given the tremendous amount of bad that comes with the good, I don't see how it is possible to conclude that we are perfect. To become perfect, we would have to shed the bad and keep only the good, which will never happen.
I don't even know how to respond to your views on humanity being the master race that owns / deserves the entire universe. It's one of those things where I know in my gut that it's wrong, but it is hard to put into words how or why.
Animal adaptation? Well, if it means dragons...wings and a tail (balance is good). Count me in the flying crowd.
Otherwise, the only thing I would really want are fins. I love swimming.
