For the most part, I spell things right. I still make the occasional mistake.

I find my spelling has actually gotten worse in recent years, which I half attribute to being lazy and spending too much time on instant messengers. I make a lot of stupid typos thanks to rushing/second guessing/sitting at a near right angle to my desk and keyboard.

I excel in writing and it's probably one of my strongest points (which is useless to me) yet for some reasons spelling is my weakest point.
Not sure why that is but I couldn't live without a proper spell checker.

There we go, that's better. What I was attempting to spell was, "Sir, I am insulted!"

(har har har, sorry)
You, sir... have earned an internet high-five.

OT: I rarely misspell words, but on occasion there are ones that I'm not quite certain of. So spell-check is useful, but I very rarely see the little red squiggles beneath my sentences. :)

I usually make sure that my spelling's accurate. I don't have spell check, but my parents raised me to be such an involuntary grammar teacher that I often go out of my way to make sure I spelled something right or use the right words.

Sub subconsciously, I know if I've misspelled a word as I'm thinking about it while typing it. Something just won't feel right, and I'll figure it out that way usually.
this is pretty much what i do, and if i can't figure out how to spell something, google.

A few years ago I would've needed it, but I've become such an obsessive about that sort of thing that spellcheckers and the like have become nearly (nearly, mind) irrelevant for me.

Not that I'm a tremendously good typist: I just tend to go over my posts multiple times before posting them. If I didn't do that, yeah, I'd sound noticeably worse.

Ah yes, pretty much the same for me. I'll just look at the word and think "Hrmm...That ain't right".

Still, I always miss one or two words without it. I can just never learn to spell them, words like bureaucratic.

And, ironically, that's the first time I've managed to spell that without spellchecking it.
Which means the next time you spell bureaucratic, it will be spelled wrong. Most of the time, I spell everything correctly. Helps that I've read so many books. So, when I do happen to misspell a word I catch it quickly and correct it.

I don't make many spelling errors and most of the time I correct them when I do.

I find bad grammar/bad spelling rather annoying at times. Other times I spaz out and do it myself.

I'm one of the worst spellers ever...Without Firefox I think I'd come off as a monkey who knows how to form basic sentences.(In fact I used spell check like 5 times just typing this)

God no, when I attempt to type fast my typing gets really bad. Also, I am a terrible speller anyways so I need spell check, it saves me!

Well, seeing as I'm not originally English (Or Canadian... American...) I need the spell check to some degree. (And yes, I am using it)

It has helped me numerous times with words I've heard but never spelled out. It helps me deliver the message without people going
"wtf is wereack?" for instance.
