Then why all the heavy lore connection between all the games? I highly doubt Team Ninja did all that for the sake of one big "joke". What doesn't help matters is that team ninja doesn't seem to deny this. They're definitely not going out of the way to deny anything. Most fans think there's a connection. If you think otherwise, more power to you. Once again, I bring up Street Fighter. You won't believe how many games connect to that series, unless you know already.
There aren't "heavy lore connections"; that's my point. Almost everything shared is from Shinto mythology or Japanese folklore. They only share it because they both draw from the same source material, just like how God of War and Assassin's Creed Valhalla both shared a bunch of Norse mythology.

The only thing we have that's actually directly from the Ninja Gaiden franchise came up in a joke side mission in Nioh.

So? Still doesn't change the fact certain elements are used. Nioh is still its own thing, don't get me wrong, but those connections don't hurt it, NG, or anyone. What's there is there. And what is it is not. I can't help but fill your splitting hairs on this. Agree to disagree all you want.
I'm not disputing shared elements. "Clone" is a disparaging term.

Then you might want to go on his video channel and contact him. Or private message him. See how he responds.
? Why? I don't give a monkey's what he thinks!

Okay, I get your point, but that does not make them mutually exclusive. Once again though, Team Ninja doesn't seem to deny the connections as far as I know. Either that, or they're indifferent.

No need for that kind of language (I know it's not the racist [and the guy is white] term, but still). Just call him a dumb ass and be done. 4th Snake I don't know too much, but from what I've seen and heard, he's an ok guy on and off camera. I am no subscriber, but he has decent and good content.

Sure, but all this establishes is "it's not impossible".

I think you might not be aware of "giving a monkey's" as a British slang phrase. It simply means "I don't care", similar to "don't give a rat's ass" in America, although "don't give a monkey's" is more casual, less hostile. It has absolutely nothing to do with the person in question, and people use the phrase even if it isn't in reference to a person at all.

Example;

Person 1: "Do you wanna go to the King's Head or the Red Lion?"
Person 2: "Don't give a monkey's".

Right, British. Never mind.
