http://www.villagevoice.com/2010-06-01/news/is-this-woman-too-hot-to-work-in-a-bank/ You would think that people would be more likely to fire you for the opposite reason.

Bahaha. No. Not attractive. And I've been drinking, so that's saying something.

EDIT: That was based off the 1st and 2nd photos...3rd is an improvement.

I want to make some insightful comment right about here, I really do, but I just...can't...stop...staring...

In all seriousness, though...that's absurd on both ends. Her bosses are clearly suffering from a classic case of creeper syndrome, and she herself is equally clearly afflicted with a chronic case of entitlement.

I'll hire her. Need a new lap warmer.

Hope she doesn't mind being paid in empty coke cans.

All I'm going to say is: Daaaaaaaammmmmmm!

Okay seriously though, I can actually see why they would say she was "Too distracting"... but the whole situation is a bit... ridicoulous.

She should quit whining and move on.

Most girls that I know would torture and pillage for looks like that.

you know, interesting as this story was (for about 30 seconds) I really don't see why the article needs to be 4 PAGES long, or include a life narrative of the gal...

It's a stretch to sell this story this way.

The employer says she was turfed for poor performance (at the old job), and because she wasn't a cultural fit at the new place and they didn't need a person in the role she wanted. She says she got the shaft because the people in her workplace couldn't handle working with her and she took a lateral transfer just to get out of there. Let the arbitrators deal with it. I have some empathy for her situation, having had a similar experience with a manager who seemed to want to make my life as unreasonably difficult as possible (although I'm only average-looking) and which resulted in me taking a large step backwards (in pay and seniority) to get out.

Whether her assertions are correct or not, based on what's in the article it seems as though the corporate culture at the place she worked at isn't exactly healthy or helpful (unless you're a man). She might have made a few political opponents in the workplace, and they may have been able to squeeze her out accordingly. After she moved, it was a matter of business need versus what she felt she was entitled to - but she was only in that position because of how the first workplace in the same company operated.

I don't know her as a person, but that statement makes her sound a bit full of herself, don't you think?

Or include a gallery of 26 pictures... oh wait...
