Surely, I feel asleep and time traveled to April Fools. And in the year 2012, Y2K finally happened, resulting in all digital sources misreading dates as the day after I feel asleep.

Surely?

Yea, it's stupid, but maybe if software had the same return policy like every other product you purchase, she could have returned an unsatisfactory item and not have to sue.

What. The. Fuck. Why are some people so stupid. This makes it hard for me to be optimistic about the future.
Pfffft, don't worry about it guys. This won't go anywhere. The courts will simply ignore this woman, heck maybe even fine her, and we'll be on our way. Plus, shouldn't it make you slightly glad that there are enough people smart enough not to put up with this woman's crap?

Can I sue people who pull such shit on the grounds they are doing my fucking head in?

Well these days people can sue for "hurt feelings" and a sexism lawsuit can now be bought by merely looking at a woman at work so I don't see why not!

You DID restrained yourself. If I was in your situation, I would propably grab a shotgun or an axe, find that guy and end his miserable, worthless life. People who are THAT dumb shouldn't be allowed to live.

I'm not sure whats more pathetic: The lawsuit or the fact that an attorney actually went along with this.

I can fix this, let's have her watch Drive and every time something entertaining or interesting happens I will grab her by the head and smash her into the seat in front while doing a bad Vin Diesel impression. That should approximate Fast and Furious.

Hunh... she could have just told the theatre she wanted a refund on her ticket and maybe some kinda discount the next time she comes by (if she's nice about it, at most she should at least have gotten a refund or free ticket for another day) and she wouldnt have seemed like such a ****.

Still, I hope the distributor counter sues her to the poor house but then again Im something of a vindictive bastard when shit like this springs up.

Maybe I sounded more serious than what I was trying to say.

Still to me it sounds like me buying a Franz Kafka book and sue the editor because the story is incomplete or lacks parts. I know it's not the same, but I guess my point could stand if i say they shou8ldn't sell incomplete work.

On a more serious note overall, you can't deny you guys have some pretty fed up laws.Just the fact that products have to have listed what to NOT do with a product instead of the other way around. Reminds me btw of that Weird Al song,Sue you.

And in related news, I'm suing EA because Dragon Age 2 isn't enough like Skyrim.

Seriously, who does this and actually believes they will win in court?

I can see how that would seem stupid to a citizen of a country that believes every one should be allowed and even encouraged to own deadly weapons for no other purpose than self defence because their scared in their own backyards due to the fact that there are so many deadly weapons in the hands of the stupid the insane the criminal and in short people that really have no reason to have them around and yes I did just turn this thread into another gun argument, I apologise for that because I'm just as bored of them as the next person but I can't help myself.

Well the thread title made me think some nutjob was suing her driver instructor because driving wasn't like the driving scenes in fast and furious, luckily it wasn't THAT bad :) Out over that, US still need to do something about what you can sue over, this is just eating time and money(which they do not have to spend atm either).
