Dear God, yes, beards! There's a difference between having a beard and having a mop on your face, though.

Sorry, OP--your goatee does nothing for me.

I just shaved the little amount of facial that was just noticble, i prefer not having a beard, it will only make me look more wild , my hair does that already

I have assorted moustaches when I don't want to be attractive to girls. When I have to spend time apart from m'lady for a couple of weeks and stuff. And during Movember, of course.

Otherwise I have 3mm or so of stubble, almost always.

I used to have a goatee... Trimmed maybe 1cm long so I didn't look too creepy, but I figured it wasn't a great look. I was just proud of my new man hairs.

I'm a half Scottish bastard so I do have a beard... and in the sunlight it's red... even though it's really brown...

I like it, I keep it clean, I comb it, I shampoo it... but it really could use a trim.
It's starting to get to the Grizzly Adams stage.

I have no opinion in this thread for I am not female.

Do eyebrows count as facial hair? I like those.

I guess it depends on the person - some guys look better clean shaven and some look much more attractive with facial hair. I'm not all that old, and all the guys I find attractive have yet to grow a great deal of facial hair or even start shaving. So I'm not sure if I'm more attracted to clean shaven guys just because there are no guys with facial hair for me to be attracted to without me being a bit of a teleiophile.

I'm not a big fan of facial hair, though I do like a bit of stubble.
Mind you, I'm 18 and clean-shaven men tend to look younger and therefore more towards my dateable age range.

Also, my dad has a beard, and contrary to Freudian beliefs, I don't like the men I date to remind me of my father.

This may shock you, but we all have different tastes! Who'd have thunk.
I believe the objective of the thread was to get people to share their personal inclinations, rather than to establish a be-all-end-all "women's" opinion.
