"According to Heroic Hollywood, Sean Bean and Eva Green are being eyed for the roles of Ares, the God of War, and Circe, the Sorceress, respectively. The villains are considered two of Wonder Woman?s major rivals.

Sean Bean is famous for numerous roles, including Ned Stark in Game of Thrones and Boromir in The Lord of the Rings series.

Eva Green starred in last year?s 300: Rise of an Empire as the vengeful Artemisia, making her a suitable choice for a villain in Wonder Woman. She also stars in Showtime's Penny Dreadful.

Production on Wonder Woman is expected to begin this November in London. The first part of the movie is reportedly set during World War I.

In addition to her debut in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gadot's Wonder Woman will appear in the Justice League movie, which begins shooting next spring. Wonder Woman hits theaters June 23, 2017."

Personally. I love these two actors and I hope these rumors are true. Even if they're not in the roles as villains I'd like to see them be a part of the film in some manner.

Thoughts?

Not like Diana's ever shied away from it. As long as Sean Bean is the "tired of this shit" War, it has potential. Now, the classy dresser Apollo and biker chick Artemis bare minimum... in fact, just bring in all Azz Olympians.

Cool.

Sean Bean is good at what he does and while I don't think I've ever seen Eva Green in a good movie, I have seen her act the hell out of every role she gets.

I'm not up with comics, but isn't that kind of her thing?

Superman's a boy scout, Batman's got his no-killing-ever rule and Wonder Woman's just like, "Nah, sometimes ya gotta shank a *****!"

You know I'd like to see Bean play a villainous Zeus. I don't think we've seen that in film.

That seems like the most typical roster of villain actors. Is there an extra seat left for Stephen Lang maybe?

She could do it the Batman way too:
"I won't kill you, but I won't save you (from impending death by crashing train) either!"

I think that's the way that a lot of movies like to portray heroes these days, not as murderers but rather as kids who accidentally let the bully get killed by woodchipper.

Maybe in the Suicide Squad sequel as Deathstroke. Personally I'd rather see the typical roster as the villains rather than see Jessie Eisenberg trying to act like anything other than Jessie Eisenberg.

If Sean Bean is Ares then technically he can't be destroyed.

So we can see Sean Bean 'die' over and over and over. Which leads me to a scene where Wonder Woman chops off Ares head, the body falls to the floor and disappears in a puff of flame and smoke... and then a door opens and there is Ares looking rather annoyed.

"That was just as painful as the last time, at least it wasn't with my own sword,"

Well in all seriousness, this is interesting. Let's see how it plays out.

I'm not much of a moviegoer, but I would definitely pay to see this. The rest of the film could crash and burn, but if this happened, I got my money's worth.

But...but...Casino Royale? D:
a) I don't remember her being in that movie.
b) I don't remember that movie being any good.
c) I don't actually remember anything about that movie except for Daniel Craig pretending to get hit in the balls with a knotted rope.

She's very good in The Dreamers (Bertolucci movie).
