The other day while wandering in a local record store and searching for something to satisfy my hunger for something new to listen to, I happend to pick up a copy of St.Vincent's album "Marry me".
I had never heard of her, but based solely on gut instinct I bought the album, I took it home, pressed play and, revelation! This was magnificent, how had I never even heard of her before now?

Finding something you love purely by chance is wonderful, so I ask you what are some things you love that have come in to your life purely by chance?

And for those curious, this is St.Vincent (A.K.A Annie Clark).

I actually discovered my now most commonly-used drawing technique because my younger brothers happened to be watching the Disney Channel while I was working. They were showing those little "How To Draw" segments, when I noticed that almost every one started with a circle and...

Da Da-da DAA~AAH!

GUIDELINES!!

Never again would my characters come out disturbingly oval-shaped and shifty-faced! A new era of art was born!!

Don't believe me?

10 dollars actually. Just blew up to my feet.
Then I bought a soda with it and won 5000 $.
No joke.

Well i liked Dragostea a few years ago so when i my family got an Xbox quite a few years ago and i found it on the music list i couldn't stop listening to it.

Then i found it on Youtube and found myself singing out every mayyyaah hii, myahhoooo and myahhaaaa.

Then i got bored with the song.

Jim's Big Ego, The Watchmen, Honest Bob and Moxy Fruvous. Wouldn't have listened to them if I didn't have Last.FM playing in the background.

Also, I would never have listened to The Fatales' Pretty in Pixels if I hadn't randomly read their 10/10 review on IGN. Their second album isn't as good, but Pretty in Pixles was worth every penny. Give the track "Nipping at Your Heels" a listen.

The meaning of life? That was a pretty cool find.
But I suppose it doesn't really count. It wasn't really all that wonderful. Kind of anti-climactic.

Yeah, I got nothin'.

That enough coffee actually makes you less nervous.
I always have a cup or two before exams.

Probably the placebo effect. It "does" whatever you think it's going to.

When I'm tired, it makes me jittery as hell.

Quite possible, especially considering I've been a coffee addict since high school.
My brain shouldn't even be affected by that stuff anymore.
But as long as it works, I don't care.

Rolo Tomassi-saw them at Truck Festival last year (one of the few bands I actually saw, the rest of the time was spent drinking and talking to random people) just because they had a cool name, loved them, went to one of their gigs on Monday, and it was by far the best gig I've been to (and I've been to some pretty amazing ones).

And the book Catch 22-inherited it from one of my grandparents, one of the best books I've ever read.
