Arrested Development. While flipping through the channels I found the holy blue man with a mustache and glasses (who conicidently, my friends say I resemble aside from the fact that I have hair).

I found the escapist entirely by chance. I had just finished fable 1 and wanted to know what other people thought of it, so I searched youtube for fable reviews. I found Yahtzee's video and thought it was good, so I looked at his other one for 'The Darkness'. I though 'Hey, I quite like this guy's style of reviewing' and looked at his video about moving to the escapist. So that's how I ended up here with all you lovely people =D

That's quite close to how I ended up here. I was looking for a bioshock review and I stumbled upon a video of an angry english bloke shouting down a mic. A few months later I created an account and have been lurking since then :)

$140 within one month, two twenties and then a hundred, which I had to turn in. Get this, I figured that I'd never see it again as one of the employees would've claimed it, yet thirty days went by, and I recieved a call, stating that no one had come forward, and I was a hundred bucks richer.

...yeah, so technically it was $140 within two months, but still.

High-Intensity Interval Training. I found a link to an article about it when browsing, of all places, GameFAQs. Surely enough, I start doing it, and cut weight from 173lbs to 157lbs in a month.

I was just going thorough random videos on YouTube, when all of a sudden I found this guy called Ashens, and by god is he hilarious, probably one of my favourite YouTubers.
ASHENS FTW, seriously, Ashens is amazing, I loved his videos, and I'm thinking about making a twitter so I can talk to him.

I found the escapist when browsing some other forums, somebody had a link to Yahtzee's work, and when I watched a few videos I joined the escapist.

Two funny things:
1: I had already watched the FF video by Kung Fu Grip here months before that.
2: The forums were I found the link, never been to them since.

I have an even more obscure way to finding the Escapist, mind you!
It started with a google-search of Ron Perlman's Fallout quote "war never changes", which led to a "top 10" list of game quotes. In this list was a link to an essay-ish analyse of the Bioshock plot and plot presentation. From there I got a reference (not a link) to a strange review series that was called, you guessed it, "Zero Punctuation". A quick google-search later, I had finally found this wonderful site and a wonderful review series.
YAY!!!

Firefly. Walking through Wal-mart I saw Serenity in the bargain bin for $3.50, remembered seeing the trailer years ago and thought, eh what the hell, thought it looked good. Watched it and became immediately, totally, and scarily obsessed. Watched the show on Dvd, and realized I haven't had an obsession this big since Star Wars.

Ben Folds. As a joke, instead of the Tool CD he was supposed to lend me, my friend gave me his Ben Folds discography. Surprisingly, I like Ben Folds more than Tool.

The mute button in a desperate attempt to stop a very annoying commercial. I mean so desperate that the controller and your hands are everywhere.

Oh, and this place. The only good thing X-Play has done in long while...
