First of all, are you a girl? (I'm assuming yes, judging by your avatar) if so, Falcon Punch the ***** next time she says something like that.Tasachan said:Sadly, my trip behind them lasted about 3 minutes. Good film. And since I was studying to be a corporate accountant I can tell you that it's true: a corporation must focus on its bottom line and put money first. It is the final but most important accounting principle. One thing I loved about that movie is that they put the pro-Michael Moore segment beside the Anti-Michael Moore segment.Tasachan said:The Corporation, actually. The narrator's voice is a tad annoying, though.AvsJoe said:One day I want to see this girl cut off from her source of income and be forced to work for a living. That'll change her attitude fer sure!Which movie was it? The Corporation? Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices? The Crooked E?Tasachan said:So, we were watching a movie in class about how corporations are evil, they exploit people and their only goal is to make as much money as possible. (Yeah, we watch sweet movies like that all the time in this class!)
you honestly don't think the overtop actions of tree huggers like E.L.F. isn't the work of stupid misguided people?oldmanwynter said:what does this have to do with stupid people?SomeUnregPunk said:Terrorist Tree-huggers. I understand them. I understand their cause. But I really wish they would instead of using firebombs to burn down new construction after their beloved forests were cut down they would use their money instead to research an alternative to plastic.

Saying something that idiotic and actually being serious: priceless
There are some things public school can't teach. For everything else, there's karma.
In fairness, while I don't believe she did it intentionally, she did stumble upon one of the big problems in international aid. If we aren't able to actually grow an economy, all we can do is inflate their currency. One of the big problems in Africa is that all of the loans we give them (a) inflate their currency, and (b) require them to raise taxes in order to show good faith payment on loans in order to get more loans.Tasachan said:~Snip~
