Some local wisdom from my hometown:

"If thy ivver does owt for nowt, mek sure tha does it for thissen"

"Eat all, sup all, pay nowt. 'ear all, see all, say nowt."

Also, my town's motto is "Spectemur agendo" which means "Let us be judged by our acts."

Finally, something I learnt and came up with myself: Never masturbate while wearing anything with drawstrings.

I love reading quotes. Sometimes they are just what you need to really look at yourself critically.
