Hey guys, just wondering who else here is addicted to the game where no human life is detected. What's your favorite vehicle?

I've grown to love my T34 though I quite like my StuG III as well. Your turn!

This game has stolen too many hours of my life... but it was the only alternative when I stopped playing EVE. My favourite is definitely the T34.

Umm... I'd have to say I really liked my Panzer III/IV. Probably my favorite so far. I've also grown attached to my IS and SU-152. Also the T-34 was pretty decent with the 57mm gun.

This game at the moment is totally unappealing to me. Too much rage trying to get through a stock IS-4. Can be quite fun when I have some clanmates on TS to banter with while personally distracting the enemy arty.

Anyway, the favourite tanks would have to be the KV with 152mm troll gun and the IS-3. No idea how you can like the StuG, since mine is an auto-lose for my team most days.

I just decided to sign up, what are the chances. I hope they have Churchills, I'm gonna fly about and kamikaze everyone (if the game allows that kind of stupidity)

EDIT: Argh, the downloader keeps telling me it's out of date! what do I do?

Do you have the long barreled 75? And I pick spots on the map and wait for vulnerable side armor. Sucks when the entire team is stacked with heavies but I do okay.

I play it but I'm not a big fan. The grind is horrendous since I refuse to pay any money for it. Also, it could use some more game modes and better matchmaking. But I have to admit it's a pretty good value considering I didn't have to pay a cent for it and have gotten probably 20+ hours out of it so far.

But my lord, that grind...

I agree that the grind is excessive if you don't have a premium account. I just don't worry about it and have fun with the tanks I have.

Despite its flaws, World of Tanks is lots of fun, particularly if the team you're on actually works together.

After struggling and struggling with WoT I've given up. Pings of 500ms are not uncommon. I need a closer server, I will pick it up again if we ever get a server closer to Australia. It would be nice if they fixed the multicore issue too.

I agree that the grind is excessive if you don't have a premium account. I just don't worry about it and have fun with the tanks I have.

Actually that's the philosophy that I've adopted with the game, buy a variety of lower tier tanks (SPG, light tank, tank destroyer) and switch up the gameplay a bit to break the monotony.
Another thing about the game is that they obviously spent a lot of time and effort in making a good number of maps, but if they just add a few different gametypes then there would be a big boost in variety to make the game stay fresh. Not sure what gametypes would work well in that game though...

edit: Perhaps a timed free-for-all where you can respawn? It gets tiring to die in the first minute and have to wait out the match because there are no respawns. Also, king of the hill? One base Assault? Destroy an objective (building?) that has like 5k HP? There is potential with the game that I hope is eventually utilized.

Too hard to get a proper tank, I've had it 2 or 3 weeks, the best I have is a BT-7, and I just get instakilled at that point.
I do like the way it plays, the combat and everything. I do NOT like how it has no respawning or way to try any kind of tank from the start.
It should rework the tech tree so you can try a sample of every kind of tank, THEN level through that, rather than not even being able to TRY a heavy tank until proving worth driving light and medium tanks.

Yeah, I use the long 75 and always try to go for the weak spots. At this point though, I think I'll sell it. I have other tanks to make money with that are more enjoyable and I want the slot so I can try the new US TDs.
