I enjoyed WoTLK, and I did not play a DK.
The new content in Northrend was quite fun and the concepts and quest lines really created new standards in their questing dynamics that breathed new life into WoW for me for the first time in years.
Then I got to 80 on my druid main, bear tanked my way through Naxxramas, Sarthrion, EoE.....over and over...and decided to take a hiatus after about two straight months of that.
The game is in pretty good shape right now honestly, but, boring in the end game and WoW, personally, for me, has never had much replay-ability in its class options as generally only a few classes really appeal to most players, so I personally don't grind alts through the same boring content over and over.
So I go to WoW for interesting and really, when you look at it, quite brilliant new approaches to Blizzard content, and for replay-ability I mostly stick with CoH/CoV, but largely, only when I'm not busy slaving for my own game.
Anyways, WoW illicits a lot of hate from people, which, I think, is more unwarranted than the Halo hate someone was referencing in another thread. At least WoW finally got Fantasy MMO's right....after what...15 years of people screwing them up? Halo just came along and let all the 12 year olds into the FPSer pool, a domain that was originally for the hip l33t 20 somethings with that 128k ISDN connection and a 80ms ping to the local Quake server.
Ahh...the good old days. When Thresh was actually good and not just a hack with an agent.
Good times man....good times.
