One of the richest nations on earth(could change though.). The Army is the biggest in the world, with over 500,000 soldiers. The Air Force is top of the line. And the navy dominates the seas. Obama has been pushing for a civilian Army force that is just as well armed and trained as the military(think of the SS but only better).
Secrete Weapon: Got you all beat. May I introduce ya'll to the antimatter bomb. It has the ability to wipe off a land area the size of the entire European side of Russia. It also doesn't have the rad contamination problem that the nuke has, so they can use it as much as they want.
History: The USA saw what was happening to the UK so the allowed the royal family to flee to the US . They also started giving arms, munition, and other supplies to the rebels, in the hope that they would rid the UK of this dictator. But their hopes were dashed when the Dictatorship largely defeated the rebels. So they escalated the war into an all out invasion. The seeds have been sown for world war III...

The country was then pacified, and a new leader emerged: General Merone. Quickly passing laws that made it impossible for him to be unseated by peaceful means, he ruled the country with an iron fist. Making use of America's substantial military, he began an agressive expansionist movement.
