ET I think is actually a good game (by Atari 2600 standards) Once you factor in that Howard What's-his-face only had 5 weeks to create THE WHOLE GAME BY HIMSELF it was an absoloute miracle he put anything out at all. And it was either the complex and fun, albeit rough-around-the-edges ET or simple, five minute fun like Space Invaders or Pong. It's by no means a GOOD game, but it does not by a mile deserve the hate it gets. And, because I know I'm gonna be quoted on it, I do by no means think ET crashed the Videogame market. One videogame cannot crash a billion-dollar a year industry single-handedly, and with it being a one-platform release it is even less likely. And, while it's first press run sold Ok-ish, the millions of unsold copies were buried (You knew i'd mention it

) so the game can't have had that big a market share. However, I do blame Atari's Christmas lineup that year as being a cause for the companies donwfall. It was filled with rotten eggs.
Worst Game Ever: Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.
There is no racing. How the hell can you be "Over the Road"? No. My computer case is fairly small. So many things wrong.
