You don't need to buy the epilogue to get the platinum trophy despite the trophies existing even if you don't have the epilogue.Torque669 said:I know what you mean. The achievements on Guitar Hero/Rock Band games are actually Achievements and act to the fact its just a game but Prince of Persia easy? I think not. You have to spend about 6-7 Pounds to buy the epilogue to get all the trophies and collecting all those light Seeds was one of the worst longetivity scams ever.
And yes, Prince of Persia was very, very easy. In fact, it was the first platinum trophy I've gotten... all but a smattering of bronze trophies I didn't just get from playing my first time through. In fact, I received the game on Saturday, beat the game on Friday (unlocked Speed Demon and Go Easy on Her), got all of the light seeds on Monday and did all of the combos (the only hard part of it all) on Tuesday, yesterday, the day I returned it.
The light seed stuff was very fun for me for some reason. The 'hard' ones were like mini-puzzles mixed with some timed button presses.
Edit: Resident Evil 5 seems to have a similar set up where you don't need all of the available trophies to unlock the platinum. I'm unsure if it's DLC or something else.
