The guys in Crysis 2 wern't exactly medical graduates, but then I remembered FarCry 2. There's not one cheat or dirty trick the AI didn't pull in that game, and trying to ram a military APC (which happens to have a grenade launcher bolted to the top) off the road using a 2 door sedan is not smart!
Some RTSs are pretty dire too, I can form an inpenetrable defensive line in C&C Generals: Zero Hour by building 5 laser turrets in a choke point. That's it, my base is forever safe!

I don't care what anyone else says, but if I tell them to go across a goddamn river and take cover next to a god damn house and they either
a. Look at my funny
b. Actually move the opposite direction
I was going around with my pistol to try and blow their brains out so I could carry their corpses to where I wanted to go, that would have been easier but noooooooooooooo I can't even kill my own stupid as all hell team.

Your dwarves in Dwarf Fortress, although that's pretty much the point. Sometimes they walk right into streams of lava, drown themselves, starve to death for no reason, it goes beyond bad AI and into the realms of looking after a bunch of suicidal depressives.
I thought that, when it came to infantry fighting, the game was pretty darn spiffy. And honestly, the same argument could be made about the guys in Fallout 3 who rush you with a lead pipe when you have Power Armor and an Armory in an invisible backpack.Scabadus said:

I would have to say Halo 1, but I loved that game, So I'll let it go for now, but recently: Halo Reach.
I was doing campaign on legendary solo, and I'm not that good at the game, so I tried to do things stealthily while my teammates would just kinda stay behind and run into walls. However, Jun didn't want to run into walls one day. Instead he decided to kill me.
I was sneaking up behind an elite... elite. You know, the ones that are golden? Generals I guess. Anyway, I was about to assassinate him when suddenly out of nowhere I hear Jun scream, "OPEN FIRE!" and start shooting wildly at the elite. Then, instead of turning towards the five shots that were just fired at him, he turns around and stares directly at me for about half a second before punting my useless spartan body off a nearby cliff.
I think I hate Jun worse than Kat, and she drove me off a cliff 15 times before I decided to drive.

Your teammates in Halo Reach are completely atrocious, which is surprising because the enemy AI is superb.
There is no reason to every play Street Fighter 4 in single player, especially considering the truly aweful AI. Even on the hardest difficulty, you can beat enemies with a single cheap attack like continually uppercutting them when they get up... and they never ever block ultra attacks... they even seem to go out of their way to get caught by it.
