Worst and best developers?

KOTOR 2 wasnt really Obsideans fault they had to meet a deadline forced on em so the game would hit stores when it did it wouldnt have been so bad if they had been given more time

Yeah, I agree but regardless many of their other games (Neverwinter Nights 2, New Vegas) are pretty buggy. Again, I love their games, but they really need to do some more bug testing before release.

I liked New Vages more then 3 it felt closer to the orginals for me personaly FO2 is still my fav in series.

the worst one is definetly Nintendo, since a DEVELOPER is supposed to DEVELOP stuff, and they havent done that since the 80s.

In seriousness, best are Epic Games, BioWare, Bethesda, Valve and Rockstar North, and worst is Bungie (although I like Halo:CE)

Worst - 636, they brutalized socom3 for PS3. They took it over from zipper and ruined an amazing series.

Worst... well, I wouldn't really know, I don't play bad games just for the sake of hating on some developers.

I have a history of not liking Nintendo, but I couldn't call them the worst developers ever even if I really wanted to.

Yeah I guess it's a bit obvious but people seem to have weird ideas about what constitutes "worst".Simply put there's no way companies like Nintendo,Sega,Obsidian etc could ever be classed as the "worst" developers as long as shovelware manufacturers like them exist

You expect the shovelware devs to make shit, but the incredible talent at a place like Obsidian or Troika or Romero-era Ion Storm makes it genuinely upsetting when they release something that isn't good. You expect it to be great, so it breaks your heart when you discover it isn't.

Yeah but virtually every developer* will release a poor game(or at least one that doesn't live up to expectations)at some point.Doesn't make them the worst developer ever.As far as I'm concerned the worst are the ones like DDI who are perfectly happy to churn out shit game after shit game and do so knowing that their games are shit.Obsidian's games for example mightn't be perfect but the ones I've played have been still enjoyable

*note I said virtually every developer so there's no need to reply with examples of devs who've never done a bad game iyo
