Worst avatar

Why are there so many threads about avatars? Does the escapist community have an unhealthy obsession with them, or is this a common thing amongst internet forums?

I've never really put much thought into people's avatars, other than a face value way to remember them. I would never single anybody out for having a bad avatar, but there are some pretty terrible ones floating around this forum. They know who they are.

If it's a demotivational poster, then it sucks. Also, low-res gifs tend to suck as well. I don't mind any normal avatar, comprehensible avatar, but if it's one I can't make out, then it sucks automatically.

Everyone has their own interest, in which they express in their avatars. So I can't really say I hate anyone's avatar, because I'm just too nice and don't want to offend anyone.

I think you've recieved indirect flaming, but you havent been directly railed on yet. I wont be the one complaining either I play games on the 360 and the PC, best of both worlds.

Hey dude, just some friendly advice; when you want to "reply" to someone's post hit the quote button. (I think it's designed to intentionally throw off new users.
