I'm not so sure that kids should be allowed to watch Invader Zim. That show is seriously dark and fucked up, though what do you expect from the creator of Johnny the Homicidal maniac?.
I've been giving the following some thought. The sad thing about Ben 10 and Generator Rex is that when you step back and think about it for a second you realize that the concepts are actually pretty fucking badass. I mean think about it, one is about an alien watch that allows its user to transform into literally any known species of alien in existence and if you meet a species not in the database you can just scan them and Bam! New alien. The other is about a kid with the ability to generate machines from his body. The only real limitation is his imagination. Unfortunately both protagonists are insufferable, spoiled brats. Which just makes it all the worse because the rest of the cast of each show is not all that bad. But during the times I watched each show I wanted punch both protagonists in the throat with a pair of spiked brass knuckles.
Well, since everyone is talking about their fav kids shows:
Batman:AS, DBZ, Superman:AS, Justice League/JLU, Spiderman, X-men, Bill & Mandy, Beast Wars, SIMPSONS, Pokemon
Shit List:
Family Guy, Beyblade,(sorry, couldn't think of more shows I thought was crap when I was 12)
Also, I think I've posted 3 comments on this. Sorry!

What do you mean? I watched Invader Zim as a kid, and I turned out just fine...
But seriously my comment was in response to that guy saying that all cartoons are for children and that only they can watch them, at least that's what it seemed like he was saying.
All the best cartoon characters are one note. Bugs Bunny? What's his deal? He's an asshole. There's nothing more to him. Fred Flinstone's Jackie Gleeson, Donald Duck flies into murderous rages. I could go on and on. Hell whole shows have been structured around 1-note characters. I present to you Gilligan's Island.
If you never saw the show it's essentially LOST, with Bob Denver in place of Matthew Fox only nothing like that. Everything you need to know about the characters is told to you in the intro, with the exception that Gilligan is an idiot and all of "and the rest" comprises Mary-Anne who's whole deal is she's nice. And as a kid I loved this show, even I knew it was fantastic cheese. Well there is one part I still think about today.
But seriously I've rambled at you long enough. If you're still with me, it's fine to hate Johnny Test. I don't but it's fine with me if others do. I'm not saying that you're wrong to.
hmmm tough one ill say the new yu gi oh (i know its misspeled) the new beyblaid etc... because not only they are dumb cash ins on the nostalgia of our generation they also suck on theyr own rites...

You're obviously not recognizing the fact that a number of shows can appeal to multiple audiences. In fact many are BUILT to appeal to multiple audiences (for example animaniacs... remember the conjugation jokes that went over your head, wasn't meant for you), and if they're high enough quality they should be enjoyable to an adult audiences. Frankly, "mature content" isn't required to make something mature, while it's not wrong to make a show with mature content, believing that that adding gratuitous sex and violence is a 13 year old's view of maturity.
Regardless, cartoon =/= kid's show, unless you're calling futurama a kid's show. Animation is a medium and it has a number of examples both at home and abroad that demonstrate the medium isn't intended for kids.

Should only children watch and enjoy The Lion King?

max and ruby is for super young kids. So your criticisms are based on he fact you're way too old to be watching.
OT Problem Solverz. One of the most horrendous art styles I've ever seen. The pace is off and the stories fall flat considering the target demographic and time slot.
Oh dear God, Problem Solverz!! I was about to either post that I couldn't think of any or just not post at all when I read this... I just hate the animation so much. And the voices. Dear God, Alfie's voice makes me grit my teeth! Ick!!!
There are a few other shows I don't really watch but they're hardly that bad in my opinion.

Hmm I actually have to think about this. I was gonna say the new stuff on cartoon network, but most of it's actually pretty decent stuff.
Wait, I got it. The Wolverine anime:
You could say I'm cheating, if you qualify anime and cartoons as two separate things, but I don't they're both animation and in my eyes, both cartoons. Plus I can't think of anything else.
Oh and as for the anime itself, well I wonder who thought it was a good idea to have an anime about Wolverine that completely disregards almost everything about him as a character. It goes deeper than him looking just wrong, granted his appearance is a part of why it doesn't work, but it's not the only reason.
Lets see here..."Problem solverz" for being generally shit; "amazing world of gumball" for being a horrifically annoying Chowder rip off; Generator rex and the million ben 10 spinoffs; Johnny Test for being a loud, poorly animated, mess of adhd nothingness; Every live action show on cartoon network because 1.IT'S CALLED CARTOON NETWORK YOU FUCKING IDIOTS, NOT "WATCH A BUNCH OF RETARDED BROS DO SHIT AND THEN YELL WOOOOOOO" NETWORK, and 2.YOU CANCELED SAMURAI JACK, DEXTER'S LAB,EDD ED and EDDY, TOONAMI AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT MADE YOU GREAT IN EXCHANGE FOR A BILLION POUNDS OF SHIT.
Thank you for this. I was outraged that they added live action. The appeal of the channel was that it was all cartoons all the bloody time. And they effing ruined it. They suck.
So far the new Thunder Cats is pretty good, as is Young Justice (provided that it hasn't been canceled). But other than those two, I'd be hard-pressed to find a decent animated series.
Young Justice hasn't been cancelled, they just haven't aired any new episodes in awhile, new episodes of Season 1 start September 16, Season 2 starts in March. Season 1 is 26 episodes, 2 is 10 so far.
Anyway, I second the reccomendation for both shows, especially ThunderCats if you're a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
