Family Guy. It's poorly written, weak in humour and adored by young-teens who prefer its crudity and irrelevance over subtle and intelligent humour.
I agree a million percent.

What this guy said. I don't have anything against MLP, but saying "Which cartoon do you hate most, and OH, YOU CAN'T SAY THE ONE I LIKE!" doesn't really make for a fair enquiry, does it? I know you said you wanted to avoid a flame war, but hey, who's telling you someone won't take offence to a cartoon THEY like, and start a flame war based on that?
The difference is that I've never seen a thread involving MLP that didn't end in a flame-war, and I don't place faith in people to not start another. I have no faith the detractors because it seems half of them go out of their way be as big of dicks about it as possible (take, for example, this guy [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.308132-Worst-Cartoon-Currently-on-Air?page=8#12424760],) and I have no faith the fans because they can never let anything slide. If you're determined to see it as favouritism then I suppose that's your prerogative.

Isnt this the way cartoons go? When i was real young we had hr puff n stuff and other drug inspired fueled shows to scar our fragile child minds. But then we had speed racer, ultra man, the pink panther, the old school bugs bunny and friends, road runner.

Few years later we had thundercats, robotech, gi joe, and stuff.

College years we had batman the animated series, animaniacs, ren & stimpy, liquid television had some killer stuff, aeon flux, etc.

Few years later the grim adventures of billy & mandy, samurai jack, justice league, powder puff girls, courage the cowardly dog.

Either way we get highs and lows, all us "old school" peeps will recall the greats, some of which hold up better than others as the years go on, but there are peaks and valleys studios will churn out the lest common denominator to market to kids that will watch anything, then those few shows will stand out from the rest that do not pander and tweak them old school notions of what makes some cartoons great.

I wish to nominate Spongebob Squarepants. For the life of me I cannot figure out the appeal of this show whatsoever. If I wanted to watch hyperactive idiots run around and fuck stuff up for 15 minutes I'd go to my friend's house and give her kids sherbet.
Well the earlier episodes like before 2004ish are really good but after that they just started milking the show for all it worth and its crap now. Really the show wasn't meant to last this long its just a shadow of its former slef at this point. :(

Everything on CN except: Anything by Man of Action, with Batman, Adventure Time, Chowder (cancelled or finsihed I believe), and by the FlapJack crew (they are talented people, really.) The 6Teen Canadian crew and a few others that might have slipped my mind.

On another note, the best Cartoon/Anime I've seen so far this decade is: Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

Not "exactly" a cartoon but Rasta Mouse is a personal hate. My youngest sings the theme tune and it makes my ears bleed.

Judge for yourselves people.

So there's a cartoon mouse who thinks Haile Selassie is God?

Johnny Test is currently with out doubt the worst thing I have ever seen. Fanboy and chum chum breath spunk as well. These shows degrade everything there is to the world. TUFF Puppy has proven that the animator for Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom doesn't ever want to stop making shitty jokes and inconsistancies. Also, I hate the animation style now.

Planet Gum ball and some of the other stuff CN has is terrible. They took a step in the right direction to allow Thundercats back. Esspecially in such a badass looking way.
Next step is Toonami.

Also I do like Regular Show.

Johnny Test. Just hearing the god damn intro song makes me want to throw a baby down a flight of stairs.
THIS.
THIS. THIS. THIS. THIS. THIS.
Ugh, and most of what's on Cartoon Network.
You know what the concept was? A kid's super genius sisters test shit on him.

THEY NEVER DO THAT EVER. He steals their inventions. Thats it.

Almost every Flash animated TV show is absolute shit in my opinion, Johnny Test comes to my mind immediately.
Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law was made with Flash, and it was really good. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you meant.

I have two actually, both from Cartoon Network.

Sidekicks and Almost Naked Animals.

Both are completely stupid and insipid.

EDIT: "Almost", not "Nearly".

P.S. I love Adventure Time.
I'm with you on these... though my friends' kids watch them, thus, I do, thus... I think I've developed some stockholm syndrome for them. but they're pretty bad. Oh, and for the longest time, the intro for Almost Naked Animals sounded like they were saying (a male body part) instead of "your pants wont be missed). go listen to it... it can't be unheard!

ps... I love Adventure Time too!!! if for no other reason then it has Bender in it!

Ok, here we go :

-The Dating Guy (30 minutes of unfunny sex jokes)
-American Dad (Everything Seth Macfarlane does sucks except for Family Guy)
-Son of Butcher (Unfunny, badly animated, cheap and embarassing)
-Rick & Steve the Happiest Gay Couple in All the World (This show has one joke and the entire show turns around that joke "Hey, what if we make a show about an entire gay planet")
-Johnny Test (lazy animation and it just sucks)
-Bromwell High (Don't get me started on this fucking piece of shit)

Pretty much Canadian cartoons they are horrible.

Damn, i really wish that Teletoon would put some good cartoons with a good story and good characters like before. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen anymore the only way i have to see a good cartoon is to watch Anime which i am not a fan of.

I would give exception to any flash cartoon made by Williams Street Productions, as they aren't lazy as shit when it comes to flash.

My Little Pony. If you didn't want anyone to say it, you shouldn't have made the thread. It's my honest opinion and I'm sticking to it.
