im gonna go off on a limb and say the one cartoon that is AMAZING
here it is
look familiar? like the dark knight returns? its the references, the animation, everything that makes this the 2nd best batman cartoon EVER. 1st? obviously animated series.
okay, worst? oh, geez, so many to pick. i would have to say that stupid gumball show. ugh. all those stupid modern slurs, use of the word crap like a noun (its a kids show, by the way.) it just disgusts me.
Fun Fact the Joker in this Batman is Dexter's Dad from Dexter's Laboratory.
i thought he sounded familiar...
The dude (whose name eludes me at the moment) is actually a pretty talented voice actor...

I'll pile on with the B&B love and say to those who gave it a miss give it a second look. They've got SO many amazing stories that could only be done in this setting. Meeting completely obscure villians from Batman's history? Batman facing his parent's killer? Batman facing a music based villian played by NPH? A retelling of the fall of Ted Kord (The Original Blue Beetle) that doesn't make you puke? Making Aquaman a fun character? It's all there, in the Brave & the Bold.
What? A silly, retro Batman cartoon that isn't dark and edgy that also happens to be good? Outrageous!
Sorry I couldn't resist. BTW has anyone else noticed that Batman actually has probably the best cartoon show track record. I mean Batman the Animated Series was amazing, The Batman was pretty damn good in its own right, Batman Beyond and its movie tie in Return of the Joker were nothing of short of awesome and now Batman: The Brave and Bold does what Adam West couldn't, that is, making a campy, retro Batman not just cool but fun!

i feel pretty good that now around 40% of the people scrollin on this thread are bat-fans. the rest are bronies and other people. have you seen the superman episode? i'm saying this a lot because it has a the dark knight returns reference, and its just plain fun to see superman being an asshole due to red kryptonite.

Honest to god, South Park. I have never laughed at any of their jokes, they're almost always blatantly offensive, and they propagate every negative stereotype out there. And I don't care if "that's why it's funny", it doesn't make it right.

Loathe My Little Pony and just because you don't want to hear it, doesn't make me hate it any less. Let me be clear that there are worse shows, but they slipped back into the obscure shadows where they belong, My Little Pony didn't. Little mad at a show that gets more praise than it deserves.

I hardly watch TV so I haven't seen many cartoons lately but I saw a little of the new Simpsons and South Park episodes and found them absolutely terrible. Some of the best TV shows ever and now I can't even get through 3 minutes of it.

Adventure Time and My Little Pony are the only recent cartoons I can tolerate enough to make through the episodes.

I don't know, there's just alot of bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD shit nowadays.
On the other hand, at least Cartoon Network is still making cartoons unlike the Disney Channel, where the cartoons get shoved into tiny timeslots and these fucking GOD-AWFUL sitcoms where all the actors are overacting teenagers have gone rampant.\
Yeah, I could rant for ages on how much I hate those shows, but yeah, the cartoons now are pretty damn crap. (Johnny Test in particular)

Before I go after cartoons I always have to say something about Disney and Nick's Live action show's.
I have a brother who watches them all the time and I have to leave the room and listen to classic rock to calm down.
But cartoons....Fanboy and ChumChum
What is great:Adventure Time , I have no idea why I like this show.
yeah, but all that and Clarissa explains it all were pretty damned good and they were nick shows.

To be honest, almost everything if you exclude re-runs of old episodes/shows.

However, this will hopefully be fixed when The Legend of Korra is released.
So far the new Thunder Cats is pretty good, as is Young Justice (provided that it hasn't been canceled). But other than those two, I'd be hard-pressed to find a decent animated series.

More people need to watch 6Teen. It is made by the same guys who did Total Drama Island, but it is much better. Six people hang out in a mall and weird shit happens. Also, Jude is a flippin' stoner in everything but name.

Shame the states are so freaked out by nudity.

..... That show has nudity?

... The fuck?

OP: Fanboy and something. That one show on Nick.
Occasionally. Black bar censors of course, but its apparently enough to keep it from the States. The show is still hilarious. It's played for laughs anyways.
Damn, I loved that show. The last episode damn near brought a tear to my eye.

Don't know what it is, it plays between shows on NZ's Comedy Central channel. It's two computer generated rabbits doing... something. That's all I've been able to gauge from it. I think they might be escaped convicts or something. Anyway it's really fucking dumb and not the least bit entertaining.

I personally don't like Brave and the Bold, though that is because it doesn't match my tastes. When I want to watch a comedic cartoon I usually prefer ones that have a dark or twisted sense of humor, like Invader Zim or Venture Brothers for example.

Johnny Test... just... Why?
Not only did they ripoff and reverse Dexter's Lab, but could not have screwed it up more. The creator and the person who greenlit the show are on the top of my hi-- err "Gift" list
