Worst Cartoon Shows

I've seen thread upon thread for the best show ever, but can any of my fellow Escapists think of the worst cartoon ever?

My vote goes for that piece of shit I saw on Nick the other day called Fanboy and Chum-Chum or something like that. I can't believe I made it through the opening credits, let alone a full episode.

Good lord that was the most ugly looking animated show I've ever seen.

Edit: I also agree with OP. That show not only looked goofy, but tried to succeed by random ADD style humor similar to Spongebob.

I'll sum up, any badly animated TV show trying to cash in on Ren and Stimpy but could never manage it that basically had a mentally retarded main character(s) doing pointless and stupid things with no redeeming value.

Oh then there was Eagle Riders, One piece, Yu-Gi-oh.
Take Japanese cartoons, rename (Eagle Riders was Battle of the Planets was Gatchaman) change any enemies into "cyborgs" Destroy story line. One Piece, censors simple words like Food, Meshi, Books, then take a character made of Smoke called smoker, edit out his cigars name Chaser...Ahh hell just flat out destroy the entire idea of the show. Yu-gi? Invisible guns...more censorship, I mean this was a violent Japanese show someone was always beating the hell out of someone every show, change that to playing a childrens card game makes you beaten up...

Anything Re-imagined or remade even worse. Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, He Man, Transformers...

I loved Courage as a kid ;_; Heck I could still watch it down. Gotta agree with Spongebob though, that show is damned obnoxious.

I'm with you fully on the vast majority of this, but spongebob is enjoyable even in my old age. I grew up with ren and stimpy and it warms the heart to see some of the throwbacks there.

Ed ed and eddy was truly awful.

Maybe I don't get it, but it just seems like it's trying way too hard to be vulgar. I have no problem with vulgarity but it needs actual humour to go with it.

I'd say Adventure Time. I saw the promo for it and all it was was the main character thats not the talking dog lying with his ass exposed as a baby and made a poop joke.

Yes, I know its a show aboiut math jokes nad is some kinda really deep and funny inside thing if you're into math, but that promo did not help. Actually... I'd say anything ever since Cartoon Network started calling itself the CN like it was edgy and cool and started putting real shows on it.

I actually do like courage and bits of spongebob. As for Chowder it had a really interesting look to it but wasn't one bit funny(they had a living fart in it like what the hell) and i kind o have a soft spot for ed edd and eddy though

Hmm... I'm going to have to say Flapjack. I seriously can NOT be the only one to have received the feeling this cartoon was about pedophilia. Seriously, in real life, when a guy with metal hands who dresses like a pirate promises to take you to an island full of candy and claims he lives in a whale, you do NOT agree to go with him. You mace him, and run to the nearest police station at mach speed.


That, and Chowder. Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT. A weird rat... THING living with something who's nose is bigger than Asia, a rock monster, and a fairy godmother, and it's about FOOD of all things. What the fuck!

And Johnny. Fucking. Test. Ripping off Jonny Quest's name was bad enough, but did you have to shit on it so badly? I wish his sisters would stop obsessing over that stupid boy long enough to send their obnoxious brother and his retarded dog into another dimension. One where everyone was dead.

Also: Phineas and Ferb. Need I say more?

Dragonball Z. I've only seen a few episodes, but I have no idea why that show was popular. The plots were dumb, the characters were bland, the animation was awful, and the whole show was utterly ridiculous.

Why all the hate for Spongebob? It's funny in loads of black and sadistic ways but somehow appropriate for kids too, that's got to be good. I hated Ren and Stimpy, just annoyed me
