Worst Cartoon Shows

I'm probably gonna get my head chewed off for this, but a show I really hate with a passion; Naruto, english or dubbed it doesn't matter it all makes me want to claw my eyes out, throw them on floor and begin the purging with fire and salt then take out my ear drums with large blades. But alas, I will still be aware of its god awfulness so I must then take a power drill to my brain.

How that show acheived ANY level success completely baffle me, the only thing more annoying then the show itself is its fanbase. Self rightoues pricks that the are.

Johnny Test and Flapjack get on my nerves. Test is just stupid and Flapjack is just creepy.

I do like Chowder though, because it's weird but it all makes sense in its own way. There is a lot of interesting art mixed in there, too. The writing is punny and the animation actually looks good, which is more than Johnny Test could say. I mean really, it looks like one of those cheap Hannah Barbara cartoons, but with half the budget and even less effort.

From what I've seen, the majority of what's on Adult Swim.

Maybe I don't get it, but it just seems like it's trying way too hard to be vulgar. I have no problem with vulgarity but it needs actual humour to go with it.

The general idea with Adult Swim shows is "if you don't like it, then you don't get it."

Case in poit: my friend hates Tom Goes to the Mayor, as well as Tim and Eric awesome show, because he just doesnt get the humour. I myself thought TGTTM was the worst cartoonIi'd ever seen when I first came across it. Then I gave it some time and I got why it was funny. Same with Morel Orel.

The only exception to this is Robot Chicken, that's the worst animated show on tv right now IMO. Totally unoriginal, with stupid voices and shitty claymation. I could do the exact same thing with my friends if we were independently wealthy as well. There is literally zero original content in that show, and it just makes me sick to look at the shitty visual asthetics of it.

Also, Flapjack is the shit. It's almost like it wasnt even made for kids. I like it especially cause it's macabre. That's the best word I can think of to describe it.

I'll sum up, any badly animated TV show trying to cash in on Ren and Stimpy but could never manage it that basically had a mentally retarded main character(s) doing pointless and stupid things with no redeeming value.

Anything Re-imagined or remade even worse. Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, He Man, Transformers...

I'm with you fully on the vast majority of this, but spongebob is enjoyable even in my old age. I grew up with ren and stimpy and it warms the heart to see some of the throwbacks there.

Ed ed and eddy was truly awful.

Chowder. Flapjack. Courage The Cowardly Dog. Adventure Time. Regular Show.

Honestly, I find it hard to watch anything made within the past five years. Now, I loved Ed, Edd and Eddie, at least until they went back to school. Though, compared to the shows listed above, I think "Phineas and Ferb" and "Johnny Test" are light years beyond them in quality, but still fall horribly short of good. I'd place them firmly in the "Decent" category.

I know I'm taking hits for hating Courage because back in the days of the old Cartoon Network it was new and edgy and exciting like most of their other shows. But I hate Courage. I just couldn't like it. I cringe when I see my 8 y/o nephew watching it. I loved Dexter and Powerpuff Girls. Later on it was Samurai Jack and Kids Next Door. But lately, I weep for what I see getting the green light. I may loathe it as well, but at least Spongebob is still around. I can handle that show.

As for Adult Swim, well, that's a different kettle of fish. Its cartoons aren't meant to be the standard fare that you see during the day or even prime time. That being said? Yeah, 90% of their original stuff sucks. After Robot Chicken, the first couple of seasons of Aqua Teen, Space Ghost and Metalocalypse (which I actually didn't care for), anything they've put on has been pretty much shit. I applaud them for resurrecting Family Guy and Futurama but Adult Swim is awful for the most part as well.

Since I'm the mother of a 6 year old, we watch alot of Johnny Test, I actually sit through and laugh once or twice, also my son makes me sing the theme song. He's got a head of fiery hair and super charged backpack......

His cartoon that I throughly and surprisingly enjoy are League of Super Evil, fucking hilarious, and World of quest.

But back on topic, I fucking hated, I mean downright detested was Astroboy....-shudder- hate is not a powerful enough word.

And currently on Treehouse is the new My Little Pony cartoon, and their annoying little voices are really grating on me...Really bad "southern" drawls...........kill me

Dragonball Z. I've only seen a few episodes, but I have no idea why that show was popular. The plots were dumb, the characters were bland, the animation was awful, and the whole show was utterly ridiculous.
