Worst western cartoon goes to 12 OZ Mouse. It would be Fanboy and Chum Chum but I laughed once when the viking episode was on.

Worst anime easily goes to Kurogane no Linebarrels (Linebarrels of Iron.)

I don't think you can list dora the explorer since its a toddler's "funducational" show

I'm probably gonna get my head chewed off for this, but a show I really hate with a passion; Naruto, english or dubbed it doesn't matter it all makes me want to claw my eyes out, throw them on floor and begin the purging with fire and salt then take out my ear drums with large blades. But alas, I will still be aware of its god awfulness so I must then take a power drill to my brain.

How that show acheived ANY level success completely baffle me, the only thing more annoying then the show itself is its fanbase. Self rightoues pricks that the are.

WOO HOO way to group together and stereotype the nearly the entire animated output of an entire country. Contrary to what you may think not all anime is nearly the same. From my point of view you just did te equivalent of answering the question "what are the worst cartoon shows" by saying "all of them" (not saying anime are the only cartoons that matter just that there are large enough differences between shows that you might as well be lumping all animation together).

Its dangerous to kids. LOOK AT THIS! Streaking,burglary,swearing,animal cruelty. THIS SH*** WONT FLY. Plus spongebob has really went from my fave to nothing but a screaming baby that I would shake until it stopped laughing at my rage. Do you realize squidward dreams of murder? Mr.Krabs gets light sentences for regularly large charges while Patrick gets 90 days for litering.Plus his obbsesion with money it self is stupid. Cheap is when you keep money tight for certain things YOU want. Keeping it for kicks is a disorder.AND THE WORST OF ALL IS THE TREATMENT OF THE SMARTEST THING ON THE SHOW SANDY AND THE MOCKERY OF TEXAS!I really hate how the people of arsehole bottom are cavemen who light torches under water and burn whatever looks at them funny.Plus spongebob cant swim...and he is an effin fish.Plus there is no continuity and people constantly forget eachother Larry Lobster once went to Spongebob and said "do I know you" when they spent an entire episode together. Rofl I have never thought to look at Spongebob in some of the ways you point out here. Especially the with the jail time sentences. However, the mocking Texas has always bugged me a little since I'm a Texan!!!

I love Spongebob, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken I guess mainly because their so stupid and random. Maybe that's why everyone is saying it sucks

I'm surprised no one has brought up Ted Turners "funducational" abomination known as Captain Planet. Sure it had some good catch phrases, but still it was stupid.

Completely disagree with everyone voting for Ed, Edd, n Eddy and Spongebob. As a matter of fact, those are probably two of my childhood favorites. Come to think of it, all cartoons were better when I was younger. Most of today's cartoons are just flat out stupid.

As for my vote, I'm leaning towards Phineas and Ferb.

scooby doo is the worst cartoon ever. why, you ask? because every episode is fucking exactly the same as every other episode, and furthermore it wasn't funny the first billion times.

I second this as well. It is basically the same unfunny and usual monster is just a man in a mask bullcrap every episode. Also, it introduced one of the most annoying TV characters ever; Scrappy-Frikkin'-Doo. The dog should be put down, and stop making crappy cartoons.

When it comes down to it, no modern cartoon can hold a candle to the classics: Top Cat, Roadrunner, Foghorn Leghorn, Whacky Races and so on.

I don't watch a whole lot of cartoons anymore (my babysitting days are behind me), but Dora the Explorer made me want to shoot myself in the face. Also, I loathe Beavis and Butthead. LOATHE.

Not a fan of anime, or anything anime inspired... Hell, maybe I'm just fucking old. Naruto was confusing; InuYashi was boring, Dragonball Z... well, that's a half-hour of my life I'll never get back.

God, I know there's more, too; I have two friends who are hooked on this crap up like its cocaine, but I can't/don't want to remember what they are.

And don't think i'm letting AMERICAN cartoons off the hook, either. That horrid remake hash of TMNT made me scream at my television set. King of the Hill is obnoxious, The Simpsons has been on the air FAAAR too long, and in my opinion, WAS NEVER FUNNY IN THE FIRST PLACE. And, oh yeah, let's not forget the Smurfs. God, I detested that show growing up; and it was on FOR 90 MINUTES.
