I lol'd when that happened. I thought it was hilariousAjimboB said:Kat in Halo Reach
It was so undramatic and uninteresting. It was just like "wait, what just happened?"
It happened so fast that if you blinked you would have missed it.
I think that was Lucien... not Lucifer... they're unsubtle, but not that unsubtle.iBananaCrazy said:Lucifer from Fable 2 by far..
I was ready for some epic boss battle..
*Presses Y and watches Lucifer die*.
Wtf..?
You can save her, by sending her away right after she gives you the T5 armor.individual11 said:Your redhaired ghoul - Heather from Vampire TM: Bloodlines.
He's actually a call back to the first game. One of Julius' Lieutenants got taken out early on in that one. I can't remember her name, but its the one that Donnie's broken up over at the beginning of 2.triggrhappy94 said:Carlos!!! =,[

He was so young, and there was a chance he could have made it

I'd have to say Zach from Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core or the Emperor in Oblivion. Seriously, why bother hiring Patrick Steward if you're gonna kill him off 30 minutes into the game?
Both of these answers I can wholly agree withBlue-State said:That was one of THE WORST character write-outs EVER!BlackWidower said:KUTNER!
You don't think he did? I seem to remember things just a bit differently.Brombaq said:blobby218 said:What do you mean "not cool"Brombaq said:Emile from Reach
He got stabbed in the back with an energy sword and could still speak like nothing happened at all... All in all i had great hopes that the character emile would do something cool at the end but well..
he killed an elite, got stabbed through the back then stabeed the elite who stabbed him in the neck!!!!!
thats the way i want to go...
No I meant sacrifice himself or something like that![]()
Incidentally, it also works exactly like that. Sudden introduction of EM energy is collected on the Faraday cage and directed elsewhere (i.e. a ground circuit). Yes, there is an upper limit to what any given shielding system can handle (introduce a significant enough current and conductors tend to melt/vaporize), but the truth is that most really important bits of military hardware is shielded for precisely this reason. If you further consider that humanity uses quite a few Nukes in the Human Covenant war (that Deliver hope trailer for instance has one), I would have to assume the secret of such things was not lost on them.MicrosoftPaysMe said:*LOST refrencectuncks said:Use a Faraday cage.jurnag12 said:Explain to me how you can EMP proof any electronical tech.
As far as I'm concerned, the big-ass weapon went boom, and they all should've been frozen because their suits went offline.![]()

Youd think in an age where nuke's, Emp's and planetary destroying rings are used, youd make a life saving energy sheild a bit more durable.....seriousley the spartan sheilds seem to only withstand a burst of fire.....AjimboB said:The nuke damaged all of their shields with the emp pulse.this isnt my name said:This. Worst however is Lucian in fable 2.
Fuck ninjas.
Oh and another one, benezia from mass effect 1,powerful biotic, who opens a few doors and then dies...
Im sorry im going to have to disagree with that qoute...some of those spartans died pretty obviousleblobby218 said:Spartans Never Die...AjimboB said:Kat in Halo Reach

They're Just Missing In Action
If that game weren't a mandatory lose, I would've won in the last battle. I had all my health left and if was just "No, you're dead."wolf92 said:Zack from FF: Crisis Core. I mean seriously? You're gonna die to save Cloud. Fucking Emo git
To be fair, nobody puts just 1 bullet in him ... I put one in both his mates and then empty 4 into his chest all dramatic like.Matthew Wilson said:With so many threads about the 'best' character deaths in gaming it seems only fair to look at the other side of the tracks at the worst deaths in games.
My choice is Imran Zakhaev, the russian villian from Call of Duty 4, survived a 50. Cal sniper shot and loss of an arm but gets killed with a pistol by a six-day recruit, should have been so much better.
EDIT: Should mention that there will be major spoilers
